He’s put on weight…..
Hard to tell with ange

Yeah but he clearly was talking about them because he mentioned them.

Yes...... But notice, I didn't say "mention"; I said "blame".

.......Maybe he regretted losing his cool (if not his words), but he def maintained his ire towards the players after the fact.

I’ve seen decent guesses but he was actually pretty cryptic about it. I really don’t miss trying to decipher his press conferences and interviews

Not the only one.... The succession of cryptic, mumble-men (Poch > Jose > Conte) who's accents mean their words just blur into the next was exhausting.

.....Though I think I just tire of the fluff & BS in general (we never get those tactical nuggets that we crave. Same reason I barely ever watch other club reps (Levy, Paratici etc) babble on either (they're never gonna reveal their 'cards' as it would be foolish business practice to do so).

He's at present got no club so no buy-out fee's needed, and he's has averaged little less than 2 years at each of the 4 clubs he's been in charge of (Frankfurt, Bayern M., Monaco, Wolfsburg)...

Only place he won things was Bayern. He was the coach that beat us 7-2.

He’s been very average at best in pretty much every other club. Plays defensive, counter attack style football in general…

Sounds like another disaster waiting to happen.

36-year-old could become the interim Tottenham manager if Ange Postecoglou is sacked over Ryan Mason

Tottenham Hotspur may be on the verge of making another managerial change.

Indeed, as Spurs sit 15th in the table having lost six of their last seven league games, they could look to change their manager.

Matt Wells could get interim Tottenham job

Speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Sami Mokbel has shared what he knows about Tottenham’s plans if Ange Postecoglou is sacked.

Postecoglou is safe at the moment, but, recent results are poor, and he could leave before too long.

According to Mokbel, there’s a lot of admiration for Matt Wells at Tottenham and he could be in line to get the caretaker job if Postecoglou does leave.

Wells is highly-rated, and he could be in line to get a chance at senior level soon.

“There is admiration for the way Matt Wells has conducted himself within the backroom, and I think there is plenty of respect for Matt Wells behind the scenes at the club,” Mokbel said.

“Just through a few conversations I have had recently, I think perhaps he would be the one they would look to to fill the void on an interim basis if they were to dispense with Ange Postecoglou, that raises the question of whether Matty Wells, having worked so closely with Postecoglou would want to do that job if Postecoglou was to leave.”

Matt Wells’ record as a manager

This would be an outlandish decision for Tottenham to make. After all, Matt Wells has very little experience as a manager.

Wells has spent most of his career as an assistant coach, currently to Ange Postecoglou and previously to Scott Parker at Fulham, Bournemouth and Club Brugge.

However, Wells has had one managerial job in the past.

Indeed, Wells was the manager of Tottenham’s U18 team at one point, and the 36-year-old’s record when managing the youth side was incredible.

Awesome Wells is in with a shout , I wonder if he could get former legend and Spurs citizen Kane to come back.

I’ll get my coat
