Match Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur | Saturday 18th March | KO: 3pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Rosentahl hattrick and the 4 goals in under 5 minutes eclipse anything of receht times.

Anything like that on Saturday would be great.

Good money now that Rucharlison and Kane score if they start.

Dean Richards too. And glen hoddle as well.

North London yobbos their chairmen called us I think.

To be fair to them. I’d be pissed off too!!
Not really. It’s like Real Madrid poaching our best players…. Big club, better location, more money and prestige. Is what it is, annoying but it’s the football food chain. Perhaps he was annoyed with how we went about it.. … and in hindsight you suspect he was probably right

I'll make this one easy for you.

It's away and I'm going.

We'll lose probably without scoring a goal such is my record this season.

In need of a centre back, I'll be keeping an eye on Bella-Kotchap. He should be high on our list this summer.

He's a good player. I wish we brought them in whilst relatively unknown rather than having to pay silly money from other Prem teams.

Always seems to be the way, though it's not as though we don't take punts, we just often seem to take the wrong ones.

That said, had Spence and Gil gone there, they would likely have gotten more consistent game time and we'd potentially be sat here bemoaning that we should have moved for them.

Meanwhile Bella Kotchap could have come here, sat on the bench behind Davies, Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga etc in the "meritocracy", not looked like a world beater in his odd cup appearance amongst the rest of the reserves and we'd be wondering why we wasted funds signing him.

It's a frustrating situation, but I understand why it happens.

Yep, I agree its more tricky at bigger clubs. I hope Gil comes back and starts playing, I still think he has something. Spence sadly has been fucked by Conte and probably needs to go for his own benefit.

I'll be gutted if he's sold without ever getting a proper chance, I think in what he's been given he's showed enough to deserve more...

But you know, someone had to make room for Dan Joomer...

They're an odd team. In the relegation zone but they're capable of good performances and results.

Obviously key not to give away silly FKs! (Looking at you Romero) We know what JWP can do.

They have some decent player, Lavia, Bella Kotchap, etc won't be easy.

They hate us for Wanyama, Toby, Poch and Martin Chivers!
Think it mostly started with the Hoddle and Richards transfer, the chairman at the time very vocal about us.
Rupert Lowe, and the origination of the South Coast Big Club (SCBC) nickname for them.
Yeah, I get all that, but surely it's just 'pecking order shit'

Otherwise, why don't we hate Man Utd with as much vitriol 'cos of Sheringham, Carrick and Berbatov (AND Fraizer Campbell coming the other way... That was almost worse!)

I get it, they were bigger than us at the time, it's the way it goes... it's not akin to Sol going to Woolwich, cos that was just rank wrong on EVERY level!

As much as it hurt each and every time... Berbatov, Sheringham and Carrick thought they were joining a bigger club... Which technically they were...

Same as Poch, Richards, Hoddle, Wanyama and Toby... (Chivers is going back a bit far, I doubt many Saints fans remember, nor give a shit about that... especially as it was pre-PL... football didn't really exist back then, remember....? It never happened!)

But still, no reason to hate US... more likely take a look at yourselves! (As I had to, when the steady stream of genuinely GREAT Spurs players took the M6 up to Manchester!)

With the exception of Sheringham they paid full price!
