Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I do not like losing, but we are in the middle of an injury and illness crisis FFS! We're missing 10 senior players through injury, illness and suspension. Some of those starting today were playing with illness. 3rd choice GK making his PL debut. 4th choice CB Dragusin (with Romero, VdV and Davies out injured) partnering an 18 year old CM (Gray) playing out of position in the heart of the defence. Spence making only his 4th league start, playing out of position at LB (with Udogie injured). 18 year old Bergvall making only his 2nd PL start alongside 22 year old Sarr in CM. Who could possible have expected any kind of result against an in-form Newcastle (5 wins on the bounce, 18 goals scored, 1 conceded)? Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a reality check.

Positives:
  • Austin showed he is a decent GK and easily could have been the EL GK allowing Spence into the EL squad. Austin actually look better than Vicario on crosses and corners.
  • Gray continues to impress playing out of position at just 18 years old.
  • Bergvall looked very good and will develop into a really decent CM.
  • The players clearly played for Ange - he is going nowhere!
Now that IS a top class post

Decided to watch You Only Live Twice whilst the match was on. I have lost all interest in watching another pointless (pun may be intended) home game. YOLT is quite a fun Bond film with a good amount of humour - and a classic portrayal of Blofeld by Donald Pleasence. The bald, evil leader hiding away from the world, surrounded by yes men in a luxurious hideout, dreaming of unrealistic world domination and seemingly constantly failing to beat his adversaries, relying on extortion to fund his deluded lifestyle and ambitions…

:levywhoa:

Do you really believe we lost because of injuries. If those very same players were utilised better, we'dve won that one. Taking Bergvall off? Playing Sarr instead of Maddison? Bringing Bissouma on? Keeping such a high line despite the injuries? Insisting on playing out of from the Back?

I'm sorry.......ANGE, LEVY and ENIC OUT!!!

So contrary some corners our fanbase Toon didn’t run riot, they didn’t pump us we more than held our own under these extenuating circumstances and as usual a horrendous refereeing decision set their wheels in motion.
This winter of discontent can’t end too soon
Exactly mate. When we get our players back we'll be fine! The league is completely done too so for the first time in years, we can just focus on the cups! Imagine all our players back by February and we go and attack the 3 cups. FA Cup run and Europa!
We can turn a very bad season into a great season very quickly by winning one of these trophies!

This is embarassing. We have lost plenty of games with our best players fit. Now you have introduced illness into the equation. Yes we had some ill today, but what is th excuse for the rest of the season? We have lost 10 games this season ffs.

Austin it was one game ffs. There is a reason he's only just made his debut after about 10 years at Spurs and he's in his mid 20s. We won't ever see him play for us again you do realise that right? Some of you are a joke, you see a player play well once and you think wow, we have a player there.

Spence played ok at CB, os he now a top CB? Is Reggie now a good LB because he played ok today? The answer by the way is no.

Ange is going somewhere, he's taking us down the table. But it seems people liek you are ok with that, as long as we get behind Ange. It's pathetic. The standards of this fanbase are in the bin. We are losing every week at home to our rivals and even bottom teams, and we have people like you going "Ange is the man, it's all because of injuries"

Ange needs to get sacked asap. The reason we are losing games is because of the way he sets the team up, not because of injuires.

It is naive football which has other streetsmart PL managers laughing as they come here and take 3 points.
This every time.
So many games this season I've sat there and thought the opposition didnt even have to get out of 2nd gear to score a couple of goals and beat us.

frustration is at how bad our season (and the last month in particular) has been.

Today was decent given the personnel available. Can’t fault the effort.
