Don’t necessarily require direct sunlight.
The whole thing was a bore, we have no attacking threat, decent defensively, Owen bailed us out once againI will preface this by saying I haven’t seen a replay of the game.
Did TF get his selections wrong? Why did we start the game with no Kudus or Xavi in the lineup? If we were going with a more defensive mindset then why no Paulinho? I just don’t understand Frank’s thinking in his starting 11.
For those of you who’ve watched the game can I ask you, did we lack creativity in the first half?
Another question I have is does Brennan Johnson suit Frank’s set up? I think we can agree that he is fairly limited in his skill set. He seemed to suit Ange’s gunho style of play better than Frank’s more cautious approach.
I’m not happy with the result. This is a game we should’ve won, despite the conditions etc. So did TF’s team selection let us down? Or was it the players? Or were BG a better side than the one we beat last year? Or maybe a bit of all of the above?
I’m not having a go at him or any of the team, merely posing the question/s. As I said I’m yet to watch the game.
And it’s far, far too early to be talking about his replacement! You don't sound so sure yourself. I might already be proven right in six months - though I don't think it'll take that long. The table could look very different in a month or two. It's far too early to be talking about Frank's “success.”
Let's hope notThis is Levy's team, will take few seasons for another overhaul.

I don't believe that he has got one player in that he wanted. Kudus maybe but I think he chose Gibbs-White and Mbueno and got neither.Early days, but I’m beginning to think Frank is almost the opposite of Ange. His only attacking plan seems to be counter attacking from the back. I’d like to see us on the front foot from the getgo against inferior teams.
Richys performance last night was criminal. I like the bloke overall, but that was indefensible

Let him pick some players and then judge.
It becomes too slow if you don't water itDon’t necessarily require direct sunlight.
And be careful with the mower.
Said everyone last May!!!!We say interesting but in reality, none of us are watching a single minute of a game involving a team we already played and will likely never play again, ever.
Yep. It was also like a badly fitted carpet in places. At one point the commentator said that it had hit a roll and bounced away from Spence out ofI couldn’t see the game and no highlights but I did hear that they were watering a plastic pitch??
i don't want to give the lads too much of an excuse but i thought there was a big difference between us and them as far as dealing with the pitch. to me it looked like we struggled and they thrived as the bounces got away from us they seemed to use the quickness to their advantage. said it during the match, this will be a tough trip for everyone who visitsThere was one point where I saw one of their players kick the ball and water shot up in the air. I was surprised tbh, but hadn't thought that maybe that was hindering our passing weight. There were a few passes our players made that were absolute larrupped, so wondering if they never quite found the sweet spot.
No I was in the hospital visiting my brother who has blood cancer.
But thanks for replying back like a cunt , instead of a legit answer like the other 5 who replied.
helpful
Well thanks for not mentioning where you'd got back from!Just got home, on paper doesn't seem like a bad result?
Ange just went all in on the Europa so we had the energy and concentration to beat teams like this and Frankfurt .
How did we actually play?
It’s perhaps more of an excuse than we think whilst watching the shitshow live.i don't want to give the lads too much of an excuse but i thought there was a big difference between us and them as far as dealing with the pitch. to me it looked like we struggled and they thrived as the bounces got away from us they seemed to use the quickness to their advantage. said it during the match, this will be a tough trip for everyone who visits
is that a new thing? I’ve played on lots and the pitch was never watered. The ball is very fast already. I was also at FIFA under 21s in the 2000s (watching obs) and the pitch wasn’t watered.
Do they use standard water, rain water, purified water, distilled water or recycled water? In sweden almost every team plays on plastic pitch and its always watered. Never been to a game when its not watered.
maybe sparkling?Do they use standard water, rain water, purified water, distilled water or recycled water?
