Don't give a fuck about conceding goals, just try to score as many as we can:

Lloris
Aurier Toby Rodon Reggie
GLC Hojberg Ndombele
Bale Kane Son

Bench: Hart, Dier, Davies, Sissoko, Bergwijn, Vinicius, Dele

That's just about the best we have to offer, and they should be the lot playing in the prem against the top teams.

I would give a rest to some players for this game.

Lloris
Doherty, Toby, Rodon, Reguilón
Sissoko, PEH, Ndombele
Bale, Kane, Son

We played a good game at Anfield but we were not lucky. I trust Mourinho and the team. COYS!!!

Apart from that ridiculous foul for which he quite deservedly got a yellow

I thought the ref did ok tbf

I'm not sure it was particularly necessary in that instance, but he's a smart, controlled player and if he sees fit to 'take one for the team', I'm happy to trust his judgement....

I'll guess at:

- Low block
- Doherty in for Aurier
- Lucas in for Bergwijn

just because, why the fuck not?

:tanguythumb:

It'll be interesting.... They'd rather counter and we forced the ball upon them and smashed then at WHL after lockdown... I think Brenton will have learned his lesson, so I wonder how he'll approach it.

Seen this lot play a little this year and they are very beatable. Move the ball around nice but they are very brittle and this should be a very Mourinho game that we should be winning

Ndombele got a full rest today - so surely he's back in the team on Sunday?

Lo Celso probably doesn't deserve to be dropped either so I do wonder if this is the game for the two of them, albeit in different circumstances?

Lloris
Aurier - Alderweireld - Dier - Reguilon
Sissoko - Hojbjerg
Lo Celso - Ndombele - Son
Kane
Wonder if we may see something like this. MUST have been a reason Mourinho put Lo Celso on the wing today. I do wonder if he was going to potentially bring on Ndombele for Bergwijn and keep Lo Celso on if he hadn't got a yellow card.

NEED to get our strongest team out there though for our next two games.

Give them the rest in the week against Stoke where we bring in the likes of Doherty, Davies, Vinicius, Bergwijn etc.

Really cannot afford to drop MORE points. We've got 1 win in our last 4 games which is quite frankly not good enough and let's be honest, we're in 2nd because everyone else is dropping points too. Liverpool play before us so will likely be 6 points clear by the time we play.
I said about this up a while back, I like it a lot and would love to see it!!!!!

Sit deep, don't let Vardy run in behind. Exactly what Everton did yesterday to them.

Lloris
Aurier* - Alderweireld - Dier - Reguilon
Sissoko - Hojbjerg
Ndombele
Lucas - Kane - Son
* I have a feeling Doherty will come in for Aurier. If Bale is fit, he might get a start but I doubt he will.

Interesting team selection.... it will certainly bamboozle whoever has the unenviable task of man marking Ndombeles!!!!

I want us to try experimenting with this lineup:

Hugo
Aurier - Toby - Dier - Reguilon
Sissoko - Pierre - Ndombele
Lo Celso, Kane, Son

Get Gio further up the field. He's decent in defense so he can do a fair bit of the job that Bergwijn does. And we can hopefully get more out of his creativity. He had a similar role for Betis so he should be able to do it.

I like your optimism, but I can’t see Jose going for Lo Celso and Ndombele on the same pitch against half decent teams.

Happy to be wrong and I’ve been calling for it. . .
