On the face of it, the draw looks extremely top heavy.

It is, based upon first team standings - the top half of the draw incudes Spurs, Woolwich, ManU, Chelsea and Liverpool of whom only one team will reach the semi finals.

Whereas in the bottom half of the draw there's ...... nobody. Wham possibly the highest rated.

Yet its not a flawed draw - Wham finished 2nd and Fulham 3rd after the 20 team league was completed so rightly take up positions in bottom half of the draw rather than facing Spurs who finished top of the league.

If PL held a draw with all teams being drawn out of a hat to arrive at that draw .... the suspicion would be of a fix !

Yeah some tough teams on our side. Teams like Liverpool are potentially quite a bit stronger than their finishing position suggests because they've got a few young players that have been involved with the first team that could drop down and players like Morton who could come back from loan (if Hull don't make the play-offs).

Spurs u21 v Notts Forest (semi final of u21 PL Cup) .......... not well timed as it clashes with first team game.

Last u21 full squad
Gunter, Kyerematen, King, Cassanova, Dorrington (Ashcroft 72), Abbott (c), John, Hall (Akhamrich 75), Lankshear (Williams 83), Donley, Santiago (Linton 83).
Substitute (not used): Archer.

Was wondering about the keeper situation yesterday. I think Keeley will be the first one back since Barnet got knocked out the play-offs and was first choice for the first half of the season. I'd say, despite conceding 5 yesterday, Gunter's been in pretty decent form recently and made some really good saves so might be a bit harsh to drop him. Maybe go one in the cup and one in the league?
Keeley straight back in u21 training
