Josh Keeley makes his RoI u21 debut.

A Kuwaiti player racially insulted an Irish player leading to the match being abandoned earlyish in 2nd half with Ireland u21's 3-0 up.

So strictly it might not have been Keeley's debut Unlucky if that's the case, but at least he had 50 minutes or so to get used to the idea of playing for RoI's u21's

Liked having him at the Club but didn't get any feeling about knowing how good he was at Coaching. He did seem to enjoy being involved though.
Seemed to have a good relationship within the club ,was thinking maybe he could of got moved to be involved with the first team under Ange

I'm glad we have a new Academy Director.

But we seem to have a pretty confusing structure with, for example :

- Leonardo Gabbanini (Chief Scout) apparently responsible for recruitment of Jude Soonsup-Bell in January
- Gretar Steinsson (Performance Director) pictured beside Mikey Moore after signing his 2 year Academy Scolarship and one year pro contract (jointly a 3 year deal)
- Andy Scoulding (Head of Football Strategy) which includes developing a pathway between Youth Set up and the First Team

So I'm not sure who is responsible for what.

And one role which is certainly needed is to ensure youngsters we want out on loan are found good loans with playing time preferably at clubs with a playing style not too far different to that played at Spurs. So is that one of the above ?

One change in coaching which might be helpful is for u21's where coaching has not been good for a few years. Hopefully a change

And I'd like to see if a role could be found for Matt Wells - he had a great season as u18 coach a few years ago with something like an 80% win rate playing excellent football before being poached by Scott Parker (still between manager roles)

Youngsters due back to pre-season training next Thursday 28 June (excluding any players involved in internationals in June who will join later eg Parrott).

First team players involved in June internationals will not start their preseason on 1 July. Those who should be back for pre-season :

GK - Foster, Auston, Whiteman (Lloris ?)
CB's - Dier, Tanganga
FB's - Royal, Spence, Sessegnon, Reguilon, Porro
CM's - Bissouma, White, Winks, Ndombele (Bentancur assumed injured)
Forwards - Gil

So I'd guess some youngsters will train with first team to be evaluated by Ang maybe

GK - Keeley
CB's - Dorrington, Paskotsi and Sayers
Midfield - Devine, Craig, Abbott, Kyerematen
Forwards - Scarlett, Donley, Lankshear and maybe Moore
