Totally respect it if true, but if it is true, why was there any talk of moving in the first place? Seems to me more like a deal couldn't get done, so now he is saying this.

If I played for Spurs and someone asked me if I wanted a move to another club, I'd say no right away. They'd be no summer of rumours and transfer bids.

Yes if he loved the club that much then it was never a case of moving. Trying to save face now I think.
