According to Calciomercato, Juve have, or are about to open talks with De Ligt.

Juventus and Mino Raiola are working on a deal to take Matthijs de Ligt at the Allianz Stadium in the summer, Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned.

The Dutch International is one of the most promising defenders in Europe and several top clubs are being linked with welcoming his services.

Tottenham and Barcelona are monitoring the performances of the 19-year-old whose price-tag is believed to be in the region of € 50 million.

Juventus are planning a huge revolution in the summer with some of their defenders who are expected to leave the club. Medhi Benatia, for example, is one of those players who could leave for a fair offer and de Ligt is one of the players that could replace the experienced Morocco International.

Juventus will use the services of Mino Raiola to try to land the promising centre defender. The club and the Italian agent are on very good terms and his help could be decisive for Juventus during negotiations with Ajax.

Talks have already begin, signing de Ligt will be nothing easy but Juve will make an attempt with Raiola standing firmly on their side.

Onefootball now reporting that we're lining up Espanyol's David López as Alderweireld's replacement. They mention reports originate in the 'Spanish Press', but no detail beyond that.

Tottenham’s hunt for a new central defender continues apace with the club desperately searching for Toby Alderweireld’s replacement.

The north London side have been linked with Matthijs de Ligt, Ahmed Hegazi and Jonny Evans in recent weeks.

But a report in the Spanish press on Friday has revealed that Mauricio Pochettino’s men have ear-marked Espanyol man David López as their number one target for this summer.

The 28-year-old has been one of the mainstays of an Espanyol side that finished 11th in La Liga last term, starting all-but one game for the RCDE Stadium side.

Pericos Online have claimed that López has a release clause in his contract worth €40m, so is getable target for Spurs.

The player himself meanwhile, is thought to be interested in a move to the Premier League.

I'd be all over this signing and if Rabiot is smart, he should be considering leaving PSG. He's played well this season and missed out on going to Russia. He's spat the dummy out a little bit because of it and refused to join Frances reserve list, but personally I don't see that being a problem.

He won't give up making plans for his time off in the summer to be a reserve to the bench for his country in the World Cup. He's smart enough to realise how badly things would have to go for him to actually even play so why bother.

Seems to be a common occurrence with this lad... This is that same kid who's mum chastises managers over his game-time, yeh?

Don't get me wrong...i would like us to go for Butland now stoke are down but to say we have to get rid of Vorm is utter bullshit. Solid goalkeeper who would be starting at a lot of clubs.

Pure fantasy if you think Butland signs to be a back-up anywhere.

Do you know how easy it is to create a website and make up any bullshit rumour? If there's some truth to it, there'll be multiple reports of it and from more trusted sources.
