Levy obviously thinks Shaqiri is worth his weight in gold.

well, if someone would offer him for his weight in gold, I would buy him (I am serious, I have some friends who are into investment banking, they would hear me out...) Why? - well currently 1 kg of gold costs around 41k EUR. According to Wikipedia he is 71 kg which makes his price roughly 3 million euros.

I am fairly confident that I could sell him for West Ham or some newly promoted team for 6.

West Ham are making a bid after he makes a come get me plea with his goal celebration...

I think you'll find that's a new Solidarity Goal Celebration, devised by the global football Family, in memory of Salah's shoulder!

They'll all be #doingitforMo at the World Cup. #Salahdarity

You can donate to #shouldertheblame memorial fund... which has been set up by #LFC and is at the request of Mo's family, who wish to have privacy at this sad time.

What about haidara from Salzburg? Looks like the real deal. Could be a good option to the “number 8” spot. And not very expensive yet

Sort of player that we should be looking to sign just before he goes on to RB Leipzig and impresses which then quadruples his fee.

Only saw him against Marseille and thought he looked really good. Potential Dembele replacement but he's still very young and raw.

I think he'll lose much more than gain if we pull him back, just my 2 cents

Not just that- he almost certainly see's himself as a proven attacker by this point- why would he want to move back into CM? It would just alienate him from the club and cause him to look to engineer a transfer away from us.
Sure he could be a great CM, but doesn't want to be a great CM. He wants to be a CAM/second striker.

Wait what moving dele a bit deeper for tactical reasons would alienate him from the club? why would that mean he wants to leave? and when has he said he 'wants' to be a cam/second striker? Lampard used to get tons of goals playing cm in a 3 and dele could do the same , he would just have to be clever with his runs and know when he can arrive late in the box and when he has to be a bit more disciplined and retain his position . One of his best games for us last season was against liverpool at home when he played a bit deeper.

Dele has always been a central midfielder bar two seasons he's had with Spurs.

Him playing in a midfield 3 won't stop him scoring goals or creating. In fact it probably allows him to sneak in unmarked and break through the opposing defence easier.

He broke into the Spurs team as a central midfielder He broke into the England team as a central midfielder. It's not out of the realms of possibility that we move him back.

One of his best games for us last season came at home to Liverpool. He played central midfield and scored.
