Yes, but in the past when we dipped into the superstar pool we really had to put a gun to the players' heads to join us. We're a different club now and big name players are starting to want to join us, so that puts us in a better negotiating position, imho.

Sadly we do not negotiate transfer fees with the players, only personal terms, and their desire to want to join a particular club can be used by their existing owners as a possible bargaining tool. e.g. something like "Tell your agent to advise Spurs if they cough up £70m you can have your dream move, or better still tell them yourself".
 
As I understand it big target man style strikers (like Vincent) tend to do well in Mexico.

Do one or two good seasons in Mexico and surely a MLS or Dutch club will be in for him I'd wager.

Yes, the negotiation is with the club, but if they have a player who really wants to join us and agitates for a move, that puts more pressure on the selling club, no?

In any case, we're in a good spot right now and should take as much advantage of it as possible.
 
Reckon we’ll give up on Lo if Eriksen stays?
Look at the depth City has... if we’re serious about competing with the best and on all fronts we need to bolster the midfield and have all kinds of options for different opponents.

If we keep Eriksen and add Lo Celso to the team, we’re looking incredibly strong next season.

Aurier isn’t up for sale. Rb will be a mix of kwp, foyth and aurier. Lb looks sketchy atm
