Giovani Lo Celso and Rodrigo de Paul seems to be very good players and both are argentinian and affordable.Tottenham and Everton are eyeing Real Betis'Argentina central midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, 23. (Sun)
Same nationality as poch, gives us an advantage.

It's going to be great. Can't tell if it'll be worse than last year (where he had to walk back on everything he said when we ended up signing no-one) or better this year where he'll desperately try to cold read the transfer market and retrospectively say he knew about whoever the fuck we sign. Not long now chaps.
Everyone’s favourite, barely literate wally, Hercules, is dusting off his crystal ball, ready to deliver a Summer-long volley of incomprehensible transfer-related bullshit.
I, for one, cannot wait.
It doesn’t help the fact the squad has to carry players like Lamela due to his injuries he is just wasting a spot in this squad, we also have players like KWP and Skipp who poch doesn’t think are good enough to start, then we have Jansen who is not good enough and llorente who has done us a service but needs upgrading as he is never going to be used unless Kane is Injured, if we can just upgrade on these with players who will challenge the starting 11 then it would be a successful window
A lot of comments about modric being too old.
Surely if we are looking for a player to rotate in to midfield an older player could be a great choice?
Experienced, doesn’t mind sitting on the bench, doesn’t need minutes on the pitch to “develop”
I see Pogbas wages will decrease 25% as well without CL football.....never underestimate how these clubs fund these players.
Isn't Weigl kind of like a German Dier? Not trying to be funny but that's generally the impression I've gotten from him any time I've seen him play, which granted hasn't been loads of times.
If one good thing has come from this run of results then it’s (hopefully) shown Levy and the board that injuries happen (and now suspensions) and that one of the reasons we aren’t home and hosed long ago was the lack of investment in the 2 windows. This squad peaked around 2017, but I think big changes are needed now. But like most I am excited...but also nervous for the window ahead! Probably apprehensive because in my heart of hearts I just don’t think levy will release the funds needed!! Which is 200m + as we are CL clubs and within the top 4 again. We need to be backed and push on.
In our squad I worry about lack of characters, think we need big dressing room characters next season.
Players out: Trippier, Aurier, Janssen, Llronte, GKN, Wanyama and Lamela (good player, but too many injuries) - unfortunately I think Toby will go!! Which is terrible as he is our best defender, does Sanchez worry anyone else at the back!!!
Players in: this may be unrealistic, but hay. Rabiot - i think we have to bust a gut to get this guy! He’s total class, CL quality player, top 4 class. Plus he’s a fighter.
Wan Bissaka - I really like this guy, he’s big, strong, quick and can defend as well as attack.
Grealish & Sessengon- we’ve been linked with these too for ages, I’d take a punt on both, both have certain qualities, they may not be starters but if they can be gotten for reasonable money I go for it.
Fekir - this guy is pure class, if Erikson goes we’ll need something of that quality to replace him and Fekir has only one year left on his deal at Lyon. Also Kai Havertz in Germany is a quality young player. Fekir can also fill in as striker, as can Son if Harry is out.
One last point, if we can hold onto Toby and Chris in the summer it would be great, but I am not as optimistic.
COYS
He's the only player linked in past couple of season that I would genuinely LOVE to have at the club. Would give us what we've been missing since Dembele had back-to-back injuries and left quietly (still gutted about that).
Betis bought him just a month or so ago (he was there on loan and they activated their option to buy). I don't see him moving anytime soon.Tottenham and Everton are eyeing Real Betis'Argentina central midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, 23. (Sun)

Sammy, you're absolutely right that it's all not happening. And yes, there are supporters who want each of those specific players gone. But nobody is saying they all should. Swap out 4 or 5 of the "not good enough" or "just squad players" with some quality and I don't think anyone serious would complain about the rest.Just wondering how many players people want because the main feeling I get on this forum is that:
Dier, Trippier, Davies, Wanyama, Llorente, Sanchez, Janssen are not good enough.
Moura, Sissoko, Winks, KWP are just squad back up
Foyth, Skipp aren’t ready yet
Toby, Eriksen are off
Leaving us with Dele, Kane, Son, Jan, Rose, Lloris. I think some of you might melt a bit this summer when your fantasies are not realised.

The overhaul will have to happen over a couple of windows. Some players leave this summer, some in january etc etc. Moving too many at once would just disrupt the squad.I agree with the sentiments on these players (although hoping somehow Eriksen signs a new contract) but that doesn't mean I expect that we will sell all these players and replace them in this window, and I doubt any others do.
Oh god... I don’t understand this Grealish love in. Is it because of his looks? His haircut? I don’t think he’s such a great player, he’s ok and can become good but is not what’s needed for a title run.
didn't they once broke the world transfer fee record on a player they only saw on VCR?Betis bought him just a month or so ago (he was there on loan and they activated their option to buy). I don't see him moving anytime soon.
