Levy using United as a smokescreen knowing that whorish media outlets will always link them because of the fanbase clicks.

I am going to nail my colours to the mast now...we're not signing him.
For the third keeper. Sure.
Maitland-Niles MOTM in the Community Shield game and Sutton raving about him.
Barcelona midfielder linked
Spurs have been linked with a move for Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.
Mundo Deportivo report Barcelona could out the Croatian this summer as they look to undergo a transformation following a disappointing season of last.
Sevilla and Tottenham have been linked as a result, and Rakitic is said to be open to a move to North London.
But the report claims neither of the interested parties want to pay the asking price of £8.8m.
Rakitic is now 32 years of age, and Spurs and Sevilla clearly feel there would not be enough return for investment.
It could also be that you suck at evaluating defenders. I'd put my money on that.
I'd actually trust a guy that's as a coach has won 21 titles including 3 champions League titles, to judge a player, over a random idiot on an internet forum that complains over everything. So you are saying that this guy with his ass full of splinters from the bench at Serie A, is that much better than what we got. I'm not convinced.LOL
Sure Dier is a world class defender. I was crazy to have questions about him. Can't wait to watch him show that world class defending he had on display against United last year. What a special player.
€40m, around £35m. I think that’s a good deal. Doesn’t mention us by name, but I’d imagine we are one of the clubs who have enquired.
If Utd are interested it probably means Sancho deal is dead in the water.
I assumed the wages were a larger concern than the transfer fee, but you also have to consider he'd have no resale value as well so it's all sunk cost.Even at 32 that would be a good deal.
Wages are probably out of our price-range though.
They’re not willing to pay the £105m Dortmund want. If that’s the case then they won’t be spending much elsewhere.Don’t think it means Sancho is dead. At that price, UTD could have him as a handy back up.
They really are fucking loaded.

If they know that Tanguy is gone and every report has the majority of clubs with limited cash, Skriniar for Tanguy seems like a very good swap.
I get that it leaves a massive hole in our MF, but I can't see how they can look at Toby, Dier, Sanchez and not see that we desperately need another starting quality CB in that group in the next two years and not see that Skriniar is a clear upgrade on Dier and Sanchez, and potentially Toby depending on how he ages.
The Dier re-signing, pumping up and over playing has me concerned that they really are that poor at evaluating defenders and they could actually not rate Skriniar in favor of Dier.
