posted, here are the bits from the Arse game I flagged up in the other match thread:
First sequence under only moderate pressure he balloons a pass to his team mate then whacks it at another team mate he's so scared of it exploding in his face.
Then next sequence twice in quick succession he has the chance to turn forwards but just bunts it backwards putting his defender under pressure and results in a goal
Third sequence, defender bringing it out, looks for Hojbjerg, who's in space, to take it off him, Hojbjerg doesn't even look to see if he can take it, just too worried in case he is marked (he isn't) so stands there pointing (where have we seen that before) for the CB to go backwards unnecessarily

He did. He played a back three at Tottenham too. What I'm saying is that I doubt he would adopt a back three on a regular basis, as someone suggested to

Just about finished watching the Udinese/Atalanta game - Castagne is not a terrible footballer, seems to have a decent engine, gets up and down and does support attacks well, offers himself up, in the first half his recovery pace seemed pretty decent, a couple of times they were hit on the break and he sprinted back to get to the attacker. Second half that recovery pace seemed to get a little less. Clearly more comfortable on the right, on the odd times he did get into forward areas he doesn't seem like the sort to take someone on, I don't think he's got a change of gear like that, but he gets his head up and tries to choose an option or find a pass/cross rather than than an aimless head down cross to nowhere.
I saw someone describe him as a bit of Davies, I would say possibly a tad better, but I get the comparison on this look.

Pffttt....I'd need to watch him a bit more but I'd probably say no. Castagne looks a more composed footballer, but not exactly exciting. Bit of a kind of B grade Meuneir, and I didn't want Meunier.
Hojberg just isn't good enough on the ball, as others have already pointed out. Might as well continue to play Sissoko at DM if that's what we want in that position. You need a player who's willing to receive a pass, turn, and then move it on up the pitch. We already have numerous players who get it and then play it straight back to the keeper or defensive line, and it's one of the reasons that we're so slow at advancing currently.
Modern DMs aren't just good at winning the ball back in midfield, they're also able to play a bit after they've done that. We were so good with Wanyama and Sandro in there because they could turn defence into attack so quickly. That's what we need

Sissoko's even worse, but buying another inept DM sure as shit isn't going to add much, except another non HG player on a long contract and good wages who we can't shift for 4 years.
Sissoko was voted our player of the season last year by the players and coaching staff and doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves. He stepped up in a big way last season and saved our bacon when a number of players that we depend upon posted sick notes and our coach spent more time with his therapist that the team.
Hojbjerg doesn’t have the best passing numbers, but I also think that’s in part due to Hassenhuttl’s style. They press so aggressively at times and he’s often looking for killer balls down the flanks. I think he’s low on options in a lot of instances due to where he is when they win the ball back.
He hasn’t been deployed as an out and out DM, which is not a role that needs to have an exceptional passer of the ball either. He’ll switch play to the flanks from time to time, but he’ll have more room to operate than he does with Southampton. The biggest question on how much he can succeed at Spurs in a pure DM role since he isn’t playing that currently.

Lille defender and Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Gabriel Magalhaes has revealed that Luis Campos could play a key-part the next transfer of his footballing career: "I speak a lot with Luis Campos to see where is best for me because he has a lot of experience."

I'd be worried that Castagne was a systems player as opposed to someone who'd come in and take us to any kind of next level.
Atalanta are BRILLIANT to watch, probably one of the most exciting teams to watch in Europe but I'm not really sure I'd take any of their players and feel like they'd improve us immensely.

He was voted that because he tried hard and did better than expected after being forced to play too much. Coaches and players love that but he was nowhere close to our best player.
Trying and giving a F are nice qualities to have (especially when we see Ndombele and Eriksen do neither) but it doesn’t beat skill and this is the EPL not youth football we need skill and Sissoko has none to offer.

Im pretty sure, like 90% sure we will buy a conventional striker in the next window. Its just the matter of whether we will like this striker or not.
It has been well documented Jose wanted a striker and some striker has really spill the tea as well.
Also looking at the past couple of seasons, where at one point Kane always get injured, i dont think Levy can spin the obvious thing to do anymore. I also think Mou wouldnt be hessitant to rest Kane.
