RP has been injured since March.... Its not like he is out of favour.

I was thinking about this yesterday... what are the rule set for the PL? X amount of HG in match day squads? With subs now being raised to 9 in a game we may get a year of respite worrying about this, only to have it eased again should Skipp & Parrott come back from loans more accomplished.
Yeah, but he’s raw and would be expensive. I think Denzel Dumfries would suit Jose. 6’2” and strong. Good at defending and attacking set pieces. Good pace, and already links well with Bergwijn. He’s a little naive positionally, but that’s something that could be drilled into him.
Nothing groundbreaking but we are in desperate need of a solid defensive midfielder and this guy is very experienced in Europe as well as the Prem and is only 24 still. Captain sort of material which is exactly what we need. Some grit in that pussy midfield of ours. If we are only paying 3 mil for this guy whilst sending KWP to them for 12 mil, we have definitely got the better deal. Now move on and sign a top class Right back please.

Probably more looking in the £10-20m range this window, that's also why they are so keen on Hojbjerg with one year left on his deal, nobody would've bothered if he had a contract until 2023.

Since Hojbjerg is filing a gaping hole that's been present in the squad for two years I think he wins that one by default.I will actually go out on a limb and say Højbjerg will have a bigger impact on our game than Sancho will have on United's.
