I think Jose and Sacramento are building this team with two players in front of the back four. That´s why I´ve been saying Hojbjerg was not signed to be the anchor of a traditional 4-3-3, or anything like that.

I think we are playing a 4-2-3-1 as our basic formation and I think we are changing the players according to the opposition. When we want to be more conservative, I bet on Hojbjerg-Winks in front of the back four, with Lo Celso ahead of them as a 10 - interesting to notice Jose´s comments after Saturday´s game, saying Winks was very comfortable playing alongside a player like Hojbjerg.

Seemed a pretty inocuous comment to me... What did you take it to mean?

Against teams expected to sit deep, I think we are playing a Hojbjerg-Lo Celso pivot, with four attacking players ahead of them. Jose really likes Dele Alli, let´s not forget.

For me the curveball as to how we will set up comes from our best post-lockdown performances being a form of 442 which shifts to 343 or 352 at the back when in possession.

4231 - likely
442 - unexpected, but possible
433 - in the locker

Foxes fan on the ray-dee-oh:

"Chillwell is only worth half what we're getting for him..... Average in attack/average in defense."

The back 3 in possession is something we´ve done since the West Ham game - Jose´s first. I agree, I think it will continue.

About Jose´s innocuous comments, he mentioned Winks alongside Hojbjerg, which is exactly my point. Hojbjerg was not signed to replace Winks, as many were saying. Hojbjerg is a destroyer. If anything, his presence in the team will help Winks. It´s also another sign that we are not playing a 4-3-3.

Can't beat a bit of intrigue:
