Almost looking forward to this. Brace yourself for wild overestimations of his abilities by gooners between now and the start of the season. I've already seen them craft the 'he rejected you' narrative which is obviously hilarious as:

1. We didn't seem to push for him at all
2. He wouldn't have wanted to warm the bench while Kane started

By Christmas we'll have a fluffed chances compilation with which to laugh at their hubris. Mark my words.
He’s still an improvement on what they currently have…. Don’t think he’ll be shit but he wouldn’t get in our front 3

Nor me. Never even heard of the bloke. But according to the experts he is a bit shit.

When I say 'experts'.....

I found one of them..

Assuming Rich has a realistic pricetag of about 50m, there's no way we're paying another 50m inc add-ons for Gordon.
And I really like Gordon.. has great physicality, attitude, good at running with the ball. Again, I doubt he leaves Everton, but that would just be a wild overpayment to get in a homegrown player.
Edit: maybe his name being released as a ploy to knock a few £'s off the Spence deal, as if we're happy to look elsewhere to fill hg quota.

So just to summarise;

You can't bring yourself to say that the window, so far, has been good.

You're wrong when you say that Liverpool spend more than us.

Fair enough, we'll leave it there then.

Well, your Liverpool stats seem to have ignored Diaz and Nunes as far as I can see. You know, the £130m or so outlay in 2022 Vs ours that would put them ahead of us. And there's still 2 months of this window to go....

For what little it's worth, Darren Lewis has just said that Everton are open to offers and that he wouldn't be suprised if AG did end up here.

I'm saying this for quite some time. Don't have and the whole game of the team is suffering. We really need that Modric/Kroos/Xavi/Xabi/Pirlo type of player.

Not with Conte in charge. We haven't needed it since he came, he hasn't needed it in his favoured formation for as long as I recall.
You may need it, because your brain and instincts tell you all teams need it. But you're not an elite coach, Conte is.
