Overall pleased with the idea of Richarlison but have some reservations. He was impactful in a terrible Everton team, so I'm encouraged by what he could possibly with quality players around him and Conte pulling the strings.

Yeah, he seriously lacks a bit of finesses and flair, and hasn't demonstrated the ability to link up play as would be expected in a top team.

However, I'm hopeful that it will develop under Conte, cos his style is to drill very specific, detailed patterns of play into his players, so you don't necessarily need as much creativity and tactical know how.

I don’t get how surprised some are with the richarlison fee. Everton gave 40M pounds to Watford. He performed for Everton and is now a better player. How the hell wouldn’t they want a profit? It’s pure logic.

I think the world and their uncle knows Everton hugely over paid for him and have done so for a lot of other players. And that's why they're knee deep in shit. I can't argue that he is a decent football player and is maybe a bit better than he was. But he also only has 1 or 2 years left on his contract and is 25+ now

He will be OUR cunt. Don’t act like you won’t love him rattle the other teams. I know I will.

He's not a good cunt. He's not a Romero, a Costa, a Drogba etc. He literally just feigns injury and he does it too much. If that's what you want from a player, then I suggest you're very much in the minority.
He will have to pack it in at Spurs because fans aren't going to tolerate it.
If he's om the deck for the 13th time in a game and the opposition are taking the ball into our half every time, he'll have 60k fans off their seats screaming at him to get up and chase back. If the ref hasn't blown and he's not injured, he needs to get the hell up and get back.

depends what Conte has asked for. If he wants a stronger bench then we’ve got that with those signings. I think Conte’s first press conference will be very telling.

We've struggled to put 11 good players out in the not too distant past.
He fixed that by improving some of our first teamers. Davies, Dier, PEH, Doherty. Then added Kulu and Bentancur. Now he has a decent 11 that can match most teams most games, he looks round at his bench for a change and nothing is there.
People assume the likes of Richarlison starts every game on the bnech, but with 5 subs he could rotate with any of the front 3 and they all still get on the pitch every match.

Lenglet, Spence, Richarlison....got to be honest that doesnt feel like a cash rich champions league team that wants to push Liverpool and City. I'd hope we have something else up our sleeve.

Very few top players available in any one window - but quite a few clubs chasing them all. So no club is going to get many 'top players'.

I'm good with incoming players if they significantly improve the squad - and I suspect we'll get 3 who improve starting X1 and 3 who improve depth and quality on bench, both valuable upgrades.

And I suspect we'll try to get 4 - 6 next summer as well.
