I wonder if we'll know more about who's leaving after the plane takes off for S Korea tonight ..

I assume anyone not on it, ain't staying? (except the players who aren't due back yet, and Lenglet, who hasn't had his Visa!)

Or will Conte take as many as possible, and take a good look at everyone?
Why would Lenglet need a visa to get on the plane to Korea? He can still travel with the team, but just not train with them, no?

Visa's are for working abroad normally.
Shouldn't stop anyone travelling and training. Tbh, the visa should be to allow Lenglet to earn money from a UK company (THFC) and have little to do with playing football in Korea

It's pretty wild if you look at it, the below was our EFL Cup Final lineup against City in 2021. Bench that day was Bale, Bergwijn, Ndombele, Dele, Sissoko, Lamela, Sanchez, Hart, Tanganga.

There's a decent chance that only 7 of those players are in our 18 man team for game 1 this year. That was only 15 months ago.

[FORMATION= 433, Lloris, Aurier, Toby, Dier, Reguilon, Winks, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Moura, Kane, Son,] [/FORMATION]
6 of those 9 on the bench have already gone and there is a good chance that all 3 of the rest will leave this summer: Ndombele, Sanchez and Tanganga.
Of the starting XI Aurier  and Toby gone. Reggie, Winks and GLC will def go. Outside chance of Lucas leaving.
So out of the 20 named could be just Lloris, Dier, Hog, Kane and Son left.
Amazing potential turn around and with the exception of Tanganga not one player going/gone that I am against.

Emerson & Spence by sounds of it then.

Probably makes sense, Spence the attacking wing back and Emerson the more defensive option against certain opposition. Can always improve his attacking contributions too considering his age
So basically you're saying Spence makes sense. Hmmm

His name's Djed Spence
He makes total sense
Playing right wing back
To join in the attack

Was that to get paid in the states though or was it with your UK based employer?
Work laws are confusing. Like, we could arguably just say Lenglet is on trial at the club and is playing on an unpaid basis and surely there is no need for a visa anywhere?
Uk label , I agree though , it’s a bit silly why he can’t just get a temporary visa for a short tour

I think we'll end up with all three. Wouldn't get too hung up on what talksport 'report'.
