Reguilon is out of favour at Tottenham and Spurs boss Antonio Conte is ready to let him depart north London as he reshapes the squad ahead of his first full season in charge.

The defender’s former club Sevilla have been asked if they would like to take him back to Spain, according to Spanish outlet Mucho Deporte, and there is interest.

Sevilla are in the market for a left-back, but have indicated they would need very favourable conditions to sign Reguilon.

The Spanish side would want a loan without an obligation to buy.
This is the problem. Outside of the prem very few clubs have money. Any player deemed not good enough is going to be sold for a hard to stomach loss

Yes. We shouldn’t spend significant money on random punts if the team has significant flaws that need to be addressed. That’s what an academy is for.

And the players you’ve named are not even slightly comparable.

10 million on someone who had barely even made much of an impact in the championship yet meanwhile the first team badly needed signings .. was & is a joke.

Meanwhile before & since then we've seemingly ignored a whole host of players who actually did look impressive at that level.

Tottenham Hotspur believe that they are leading the race to sign Oscar Gloukh, and the Sunday Mirror (10/7; page 74) reporting that Spurs have now made contact about a move for the youngster.

Antonio Conte’s men have been one of the pace-setters in the transfer market in the Premier League. Clearly, much of their business has been done ahead of their pre-season tour.

However, it appears that there is more to come. And Gloukh is one of the players on Tottenham’s radar.

The 18-year-old is attracting attention after impressing for Maccabi Tel Aviv. He scored three goals in eight games from attacking midfield last season.

In fact, Spurs have already made contact about a possible move for Gloukh. And Tottenham think that they are the ones leading the charge for his signature.

Maccabi meanwhile, want up to £10 million for their starlet, who has been likened to Yossi Benayoun.

One of the few criticisms made about Conte’s management is that the impact he makes almost favours the short-term just too much.

Signing someone such as Ivan Perisic may not really benefit Tottenham down the line. But it is a fantastic signing for the next couple of seasons.

However, Spurs are indeed keeping one eye on the team coming through. They have some amazing prospects already in the ranks, being led by Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine.

Signing players such as Gloukh would clearly be an exciting deal. Clubs such as Ajax and Dortmund uncover some incredible gems. And they both want him now.

So, Tottenham going on to win the race could really be significant.

I watched this kid in the recent Euro final and he impressed me.

It's not the first time Man City have been linked with Gvardiol. If they want him then only Real M. or PSG can stop them getting him (and maybe Liverpool).

Setting it off against the Ake sale, they're only talking £40ish mill..... If they want him; RB will fold for mega money and they'll have him.

Some will complain about us having a lack of (financial) ambition but it won't have been the pricetag that prevents us..... If we're honest there's a shelf in the market that we still can't reach...... It says "serial trophy winners only".
