If it doesnt, it wont be about the nelsons👍👍

Within reason
Fair enough.

I suppose, as fans, we need to change our mindset. I've just never considered we would be the sort of team to spend 'that sort of money' on a player. ENIC are evidently supporting the team more; but I still have the nagging suspicion that they will target potential and value. Nothing wrong with that too.

And Maddison would be odd. Can't lie; I do struggle with the fact he comes across as being a total and utter penis.

Scientific proof Maddison would ruin everything good about us. Disgusting scenes.

If KWP is sold for £12 million and bought back for £30 million that isn’t good business is it? Or am I missing something?
Your logic is flawed here. If we originally had a plan to sell him for £12m then buy him back for £30m then yes that would be bad business, but that was never the plan - when he was sold, the powers that be (rightly or wrongly) decided that he wasn't (and wasn't going to be) good enough for us. If they have then decided that actually he has developed better than expected and so want to buy him back, and can get him at a price they think appropriate, then that's good business now. We can't change the fact that we sold him for £12m, that's in the past - we can only do whatever is best for us at this point in time, based on the information that we have now.

By the way I'm not saying that we should or shouldn't buy him back for £30m - I'm just saying that your logic is flawed above.

We saw what he did at Brentford. We should have signed him, doubt he had high salary demands.
4 competitions, he would have started matches and played super sub role.
I think it's down to Conte. Knows the player; must think he's not the right fit.

If that's the case, so be it. The right call. Will just really fucking grate seeing him play for those dickheads.

I didn't want CE back, no bitterness, I just thought we should move on and buy someone younger, who isn't just there for back up. Someone who is in contention for a first team place.

I think blaming the Haringey Labour Party for not being fully on board with gentrification in one of the poorest centrally funded Boroughs in the country just shows the priorities of football fans and regular folk are very different.

David Lammy gave it the push after the riots but after the chancers from Scholar to Sugar we had in charge pre ENIC the reticence of the council was not only understandable it was totally justified. If any thing its the thing Levy's critics overlook. He was the right man to do it he just took too long getting started before he'd proved him self not another Scholar local government we're right steer well clear.

Levy had been negotiating fruitlessly with Haringey for a decade before the riots.

Scholar and Sugar at that stage were history. Lammy btw was not directly involved in regeneration (ultimately done by council with government help) but as a local MP very much a helpful useful cheerleader and enabler/communications conduit where required.

However the major point to make is that Haringey Council , dominated by the labour party., had steadfastly refused to make any changes for decades before the riots. I think its correct to say that after Tottenham had been rebuilt post WW2 by 1960's Haringey had not built any new housing (at least of any scale) any where in the wards around the stadium.

And the stadium was caught up in the lack of development of the area.

The riots changed the perspective of Haringey Labour party triggering both plans for building of new homes as ell as permitting the stadium to be built. I'm pleased as well that Spurs were instrumental in the building of some 1,500 new homes (with no issues of quality or poor build, sadly an issue in some new builds) on disused industrial land largely before the stadium build

We are in talks. Leicester very reluctant. But his contract and more takes it out of Rodgers hands. Would be an excellent acquisition. We are willing to pay. Turning your nose up at him (some) is baffling. I personally hope it happens. Plenty work to do. Winks in the mix as well.

This Paul chap is either making shit up or doesn’t care about ‘protecting his sources’

This is a fascinating read

Funnily enough, many of the Anti Levy brigade were cheering Leciester's owners and spending power.

seems the Leicester fans patience has run out.
