Regarding Ndombele, by saying he's valued at £30m, it gives Spurs a hand to play in any negotiations after this season. Pretty clear they don't actually expect to get £30m, it's just to start the bidding as high as possible.
It’s Euros not pounds. . Equates to around 25m pounds. Quite sure we would happily take 20m of course with a bonus if he ever wins the Ballon Dor.??

I agree it is bit unrealistic - I am not arguing with you :D .

But now it feels beyond unrealistic that we paid 16 + 32 mil for someone as shit as Lo Celso.
AFTER seeing him play for us.

So weird shit happens sometimes :D . Lets hope fir the miracle.
Neither are bad players they just do not suit the Premier League and had injuries in the adjustment period. I would not be suprised in a season or two people questioning why we sold them.

I consider the 30m buy option for Ndombele to be us protecting an asset into which we've sunk a lot of cash.

If he has a rubbish season, it's irrevelant.

If he has a decent season and Napoli want to buy, we can always accept a lower price.

If, by some miracle, Ndombele finally gets his act together & rediscovers the form that made Poch desperate to sign him, then Napoli have to pay 30m.

Sensible business.
Quite probably an insurance hack as well?

If he suffers a career ending injury/event, the asset value has been placed (perceptually anyway).

Would be epic if the make top 4 and we get €30m

Those wishing for Maddison need to remember Conte wants tall strong players Maddison unfortunately doesn’t fit his profile IMHO. I would love to be proved wrong as I would welcome him with open arms! But I can’t see it happening.
