surprised he put his neck out like that.

I'd say something like, "there's some movement behind the scenes, some names are being talked about but i cant say too much unless they appear in the press, then i can confirm but im not confident as of now"

give me likes!

Fair enough our preferred targets at LCB weren’t available and we managed to get a relatively decent stop gap in Lenglet, but not making a concentrated effort to upgrade in Diers CCB is an absolutely massive mistake IMO.

I don’t care how solid he’s looked at times under Conte. There is still always a mistake or a lapse in the guy that will cost us goals and points throughout the season.
VVD has cost Liverpool more points in 2022 than Dier has cost us. He's not a perfect player but working with a top coach and playing in a back three has eradicated a lot of those mistakes from his game.

As things stand - especially with the way we're actually playing - can only see 4th (just) and maybe a cup final.

Still, very early doors and things are yet to click (hurry, please).

But, window not as great as it looked to be shaping up to be, tbh.

Now down to Conte to pick the lock on a couple of key things preventing our game from flowing, properly.

I'm gonna make a bold statement and it's gonna annoy the fuck out of people.

If we did a last minute ditch move for Traore, I think fans will warm to him quite quickly.
By fans, I mean those of you who actually watch 90 minutes of football and not check stats and final scores.

I can't remember the last time he lasted ninety minutes playing football.

In fact i don't need to watch Bruno Jnr on a football pitch to come to a conclusion that we would be loaning him in two seasons time.

If he can't get a start at Wolves why the fuck would we want him?

From what I’ve heard, moura wants to go back to play in Brazil in a year or two. I can’t see him agreeing a long contract for another side when he’s settled here.
exactly, and it's unlikely a Brazilian team, can and will pay a premium for him. He's more likely to remain a great back-up, professional and positive influence in the changing room and in training. There has to be a desire from both parties for a player to want to move, as we've seen with some refusing transfers and loans when they are quite comfortable here.

I truly believe that when Conte said"we can't afford any more mistakes in the transfer market" he was referring to this sort of a signing.

A lot of money wasted on bang average players, instead of waiting for the right deals to come along.

The amount of deadwood we are trying to shift now is proof of that.
We are not going to buy someone for the sake of buying someone.

And Traore is the definition of a buying for the sake of it player.

100% spot on!

Had we brought in four players this week, the knobs in here would say "if only we'd have brought these in earlier".

This window have been about quality not quantity, about squad depth, not the name on the back of the shirt (we have done that in the past and are still paying for it).

One thing i will say about our transfer window, Romero, Spence, Bissouma, Richarlison, Kulu and Bentancur will be in a Spurs shirt longer than Anthony will be wearing a United one.

bench warmer, 10months left on his contract, sent back from Barca. Expect his value to be Circa. £12m. can't see many upping the £43k salary he's currently on. Maybe Everton...

Doesn't seem to be even worth a punt TBH

Conte said that Moura is suffering from a tendon injury that won’t clear up in a couple of weeks.
Surprised if he went but he might be fed up as he doesn’t get much game time since Kulu arrived.
