I think he was 15 or 16 when he made those tweets? They don't bother me at all, as a player he has developed very well and would be a top addition to our squad.

What we lacked last season, before Kulusevski joined, was goalscorers other than Kane and Son. Richarlison should provide goals and has the quality to fit into our forward line.not really enamoured with rich especially if we are shelling 60 mill on him
dont think he has much potential either, think he is already at his limit
its one of those where i think if Woolwich got rich i wouldnt care, whereasif they get raphinha then im concerned a little
we need someone who can unlock these shit teams andi cant see rich doing that
hope im wrong
TBF, the best thing about Jesus is not his goals, it's the workrate, off the ball movement, dribbling, and fairly decent hold up play. They played roughly the same amount.
...And like Jesus; Lacazette has been in and out ever since he arrived.
He's decent; not denying that...... BUT you're talking about a player that professes to prefer to play on the wing and are merely using your gut to come to such conclusions about his output.

His best ever EPL season: 21 starts + 13 sub = 14 goals.........
Again; without KDB & co. there's no reason to assume he can match that at Arse.
Hardly better than Lacazette numbers.
Since we play a fairly low possession football Richarlison's defensive work could be the better option over Raphina's better technical abilities.
Richarlison vs Raphinha stat compare. Very close.
But if you watch them, Raphinha created something out of nothing regularly, he has talent that is beyond Richarlison.

I don't think there are any RWBs we can realistically get who would make a significant impact on our team this season.
Spence will be very good in future years after Conte improves him.
And as for LCB, I don't think we will get a player who is a big upgrade on Davies, given Bastoni doesn't want to come.
So yes right now I would say Raphinha is a #1 priority. He can play well at LW too, and I don't see him as a 'back up'- we need 4 class attackers if we are to challenge for multiple trophies.
look also to their coachWhy are some of you concerned with woolwich signings "Oh they are gonna have a lot of fire power" yeah look at their midfield and defensive options.
Raphinha is very good at LW too, while Richarlison is poor at RW.Richarlison is a way more exciting signing then Raphina in that he plays more positions we need, his output is just as good especially in that shit Everton side and he works his ass off way more than Raphina.
Yeah, but the players available are important.
It's entirely rational though. For a relegation team, losing a relegation 6 pointer is a more damaging blow than losing to a top team.
Would say the opposite - having back up to Kane and Son means we can rotate them a bit and they less likely to pick up fatigue injuries and more likely to keep fresh and in formRaphinha is very good at LW too, while Richarlison is poor at RW.
Kane & Son are the 2 best players out of our front 3, so it makes more sense to buy a player who can provide healthy competition to Kulu at RW.
Rich means we don't need to buy another back up CF... but he's a worse signing in all other aspects.
Jesus never got a chance to play centrally for City, other than the odd game here and there.
Perhaps he's just simply better out wide. But Woolwich will likely play him centrally and Jesus has shown already he has goals in him.
He was their main man up top until Arteta finally lost faith in him and started to play Nketiah at the back end of the season,
