I'd happily accept shitty midfield depth if we could get guy. If we had to sell both Winks and Hojbjerg to afford him, it'd still be a fantastic deal.

He has that Romero vibe of potentially transforming our midfield, and getting gushing posts on this forum every week. Great first touch, can beat a press, decent defensively, and an absolute bucketloads of goals and assists season after season.

I'd happily pay 80m for him.

Tottenham - who Eriksen played for between 2013 and 2020 - do hold an interest, though it is currently unclear whether the Dane is open to a reunion given the manner of his departure.

Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Everton, Newcastle and West Ham are all looking into offering Eriksen a contract this summer along with Brentford's local rivals Fulham, who have all but sealed promotion back to the Premier League.

There is interest from abroad too, but it's understood that the 30-year-old wants to stay in England.

Eriksen is not thought to be seeking the six-figure wages he was on at Spurs and Inter but he does want his stature to be recognised in the next contract he signs.
Eriksen was not earning weekly six figure wages at Spurs. Iirc he was on 70-75k a week

Anyway I very much doubt he will come back here and deal with Levy again.

Hojberg and Winks? We will have to sell Kane to get him.!!! This guy is going to cost a fortune, Lazio's best player and he is contracted until 2024. Around 100 mill? :levywtf:

Very few players in the world go for 100m, and I reckon Mbappe is the only successful transfer at anything over 70m.

I reckon he could be had for 80m. Sell with for 15m, PEH for 25m. That's 40m, fork out other 40m from existing cash.

The quality is undeniable, and he's done it for years.

R.Madrid will get him

If Levy is willing to spend a club record fee on one player, I'd rather it be PL proven and younger Ruben Neves for 60 Mil,

Neves Hojberg/Skipp and Bentancur would make the midfield the best in PL

I don't think Real can afford the transfer fee and wages, they are still scramblin around looking for fee transfers

Agree about the PL proven part and Neves would be a top signing for around that price.

What rubbish. SMS is twice the player Neves is, and if you're willing to spend 60m for Neves, it's worth bumping up to first class, and getting SMS for 80-100m.

Grealish went for 100 mill and that has adjusted the market. Lazio can hold out for the very best price possible or simply refuse to sell the player. Actually Savic gets linked with moves away fromLazio every summer but he never actually leaves. Maybe the player is very happy with his life there, he is 27 and for a player of his ability not to have left there until now when every top club in the world has been chasing him shows it must be a combination of his contentment there and his club's determination to keep him.

That's fair, but it seems this is the year it finally happens.

I mean that if he was available, we have to make every effort to get him. Maybe RM, PSG etc will get him, but we should make every effort to get him ourselves.

When we went after Ndombele he seemed destined for PSG, City, RM etc. but we just offered more money and won out. Same happened with Romero, Messi was begging Barca, but we were the only club that wanted him and had the financial muscle to get the deal done.

Could happen again.

Milinković-Savić would be insane

London, working with Conte and CL would be a huge pull if we do end up getting it

Good thing is Paratici has said in the past he doesn't mind over paying to ensure you get the guy you want

Savic is a special player

Oh now this is what we need we would be so good with this bloke. 😍

When you look at the impact Romero and Benta have had, the prospect of SMS in our midfield is so exciting.

As i'm sure you know this guy would solve so many problems for us, not least of all the goals and assists we used to get from Eriksen.

Supposedly, PSG and Juventus are interested.
I don’t see him ending up anywhere other than in Turin if this is the case.

Italian clubs have an enormous advantage when it comes to signing players from the former Yugoslavia.
Geography.

He can stay in a league he’s familiar with, be close to home and be all but assured of CL football

Yup, uphill battle for us.

On a positive note, Roma and Lazio are only 5 points behind Juve with 6 games to go, still a faint hope that Juve miss the CL.

Juve are also not flush with cash. We are richer, and if can can't stump up the cash, we're in with a real chance.

PSG seem to be going after Pogba. Losing Mbappe and Poch in the summer might put him off.

Sounds weird coming from a Spurs fan given our history with both DoFs, Managers and Mr Levy - But I have complete faith in this upcoming window being a success.

Paratici's Black Book, the pull of playing for Conte, Team already here, World Class Stadium and Training Ground and potentially CL Football in London - quite the appealing offer for any player.
