Not sure what to think.

Good player but can be incredibly frustrating and his decision making can be poor.

Then again, home grown and has over 100 PL goals so perhaps I'm being unfair. He's 27 and has good pace, would prob offer a lot more than Bergwijn & Lucas.

Woolwich written all over it. They pay silly wages, Sterling has worked with Arteta, he will be the main man there

He isn't getting another contract at City. He'd be on Son wages if he came here. Besides, what are his other options? Woolwich offer the same wages as us, Newcastle are still a couple of years away from being challengers, and Bayern or Barca have a very slim chance of going for him.

Arse would happily pay over the odds in wages for Sterling and their fans would see that as a good thing for some reason.

If he wants a decent final pay day he should look at going to the barcodes. He has enough medals and the toon fans would treat him a shitload better than Arse ones would.

Pro's and con's in coming to us but I don't see it happening.

Pretty sure the Goons pay significantly more on wages than us. Kane is an outlier.

We'd probably be in 4th of we had a competent lwb. Can say that about so many of our players. Just ONE more competent player would have been enough.

He won the EL witb Sevilla, had some experience at real, it seemed like such a safe buy.

He looked good at first. Really quick, hard working, and his final delivery wasn't bad at all for a while. Was tenacious but lacked a bit decision making wise & physically defensively, but there was a lot to be optimistic about.

Has simply gone backwards since. Quick but awful decision making, final delivery poor and always a bit of a defensive issue. Not bothered at all if he goes.

He’s on 300 grand a week and will be looking for a pay INCREASE (as he would get one in 23 in lieu of the acquiring team paying a transfer fee if he runs his contract down). He also plays primarily as a left-sided forward (Sonny’s position) — so that’s 300 grand plus for a guy who won’t be the primary starter in his best (favored) position. That’s a hard pass from me.

I’m going all-in against us getting him. As someone else suggested, Newcastle makes a lot of sense.

He just can’t defend. He hets caught out of position all the time.

Say what you want about Davies (his faults are clear), but the lad knows when to go forward and when to hold his position. He knows his role.

Reguillon has demonstrated zero development.

Would we be able to get, or want to get any of those listed?

I can only see Tolisso or Lingard of those being gettable and useful for us. And honestly, not even sure about that really considering what the wages would be...
would take modric even if he could only play 35 mins every 2 games. them sort of players who have won everything can be huge in changing the mentality in the changing room. hed still do a job in his 40s because hes sheer class
