I wonder if Kulu could play RWB in a 352. He can clearly cover ground is physically strong, and can put in a tackle, but he also clearly lacks a bit in agility. I can see him getting spun by the likes of Sterling and Mane.

What position does he have in a 352? I don't think he has one. Son/Kane up top. Skipp, SMS, PEH/Benta in the middle.
Essentially he wouldn't start if we were running the 352 but it's good to have the versatility.

I think if you combine that with signing another top attacker (Martinez-esque) you have 4 top players for 2 or 3 roles.

That's why I also think we need 2 CM signings (I'm assuming Winks goes and Sarr isn't a viable option yet).

Then you have our 3 workhorses plus 2 more that veer towards the more creative end of the midfield spectrum (Eriksen and Savic for example).

Fair weather player.... Dodgy attitude.

PASS.
He's one of those nice to have players, maybe you'd take him over Kulu or PEH but he doesn't really take us to the level we're trying to get to.

We need someone elite cos our midfield is pretty thin cos of the 343. You can only have 11 players on the pitch at a time, with Skipp/Benta/PEH already there, the other guy needs to be top quality.

I think if Bale were to continue playing (basically if Wales qualify for the WC) and there was the possibility of him returning again for a season or two, it's a no brainer imo. To have someone like that who can still offer so much on and off the pitch, in a season where 5 subs are allowed and we (fingers still crossed) will be playing CL football, if it's doable it seems bonkers not to. No he isn't long term, but I think we need a mix right now. If Conte says no then that's fair enough, but I'd personally love to see him back again and in front of fans this time.

I'm sure someone in the MLS would take Moura. He'd look like the best player in the history of that league.

We'll work something out with Villareal for GLC.

Don't think Winks will be an issue tbh, there will be takers.

Ndombele is the tough one. I think at this stage the best we can do is just make sure we are not taking full whack on his wages or settle on some cut price deal.
Agree. Ndombele will probably have to be another loan at best. Lo Celso, Carter-Vickers, maybe Bergwijn we pretty have takers lined up. Rodon and/or Sanchez would hopefully be ok because of age. Winks might be tough because what level of club goes for him and would he want to go there? Overall i'm more optimistic on outs than i have been for years, Paratici got rid of an ageingToby, a perma knackered Lamela, Sissoko and i'm afraid to say a pretty much finished Dele.

Yeah Paratici has done great to ship out the deadwood.

I get the sense Winks wants to play. He wont make a single appearance next season if he stays.

I could see him going to Spain, a la Lamela, as I'm not sure he'll fancy a relegation scrap in the Premier League.

TBH, the 5 sub rule does change things in terms of the kind of options one might wanna make room for on the bench.

Not sure Bale would want to sign up for merely 10min super-sub duties though.

I'd still take Ward-Prowse, for the right money. Tidy player, never injured, always gives 100% and has room to improve still. Oh, and he would also keep Harry away from free-kicks.

Spain or the BL would suit him I reckon; but unfortunately for Winks; domestic players like him are 2-a-penny in those countries (ditto Italy)......

I reckon a bigger club in a smaller league is the answer (Dutch or French... Portugal maybe).
