Potter has a master's degree in Leadership and emotional intelligence, and a bachelor's in Social sciences. He knows how to connect with people.

Call me naive but that and based on Potter's track record in Sweden (where he had to put together a team of social outcasts into a footballing unit) makes me think that whatever issues that Bissouma have with the law are nowhere near as severe as let's say Mendy or Greenwood. I just can't see Potter pulling a Moyes and letting a player play through a legal process.
Mendy was charged with rape and Greenwood with sexual assault and threats to kill (from what I understood) while Bissouma was accused of sexual harassment, which can be very vague, and would normally carry much less penalty than the aforementioned cases if found guilty.

yeah, we're all just guessing, and hoping.

Still, it's not worth nothing that he's treated so lightly by the authorities while Mendy and Greenwood are not. The accusation itself doesn't seem to be rape, but sexual assault (groping or some sort of unwanted advance).

So there's reason to hope that we've not just signed up a fucking rapist.
Its all speculation. The fact that two have been allegedly involved is likely key. Maybe Bissouma was being bothered and the other man pushed the accuser away, maybe the other accused was pushing his luck and Bissouma tried to mediate. Maybe maybe maybe. Let’s hope it gets resolved, he did t do anything shameful and we sign him. I think he really would take us to next level.

🤞🏻

Technically SC aren't doing anything wrong, it's the idiots that pledge donations to the site that need a slap.

They're just monetising off people's emotions which is the what the media do these days, whether it's via an affiliate or click bait or whatever, it's just a cleaver way of making money of people who seek instant gratification for of transfer news.

What's clear now is that the ITK is just a load of made up bollocks though.
It's just like religious congregations. Pay us now and you will come to heaven ect.

After Grealish, he’s the most overrated, overhyped player in the PL.

I’m not saying he’s shit, he’s not, but the hype around him is ridiculous.

Just about every team in France has a player like him in their midfield. Good physique, decent athleticism with some football ability.

Villa just picked up one for free in Kamara. Very similar player type and attributes. There's a bunch of others with similar profile.

Let's see if Kamara puts up even close to the defensive numbers Rice does, shall we?

Just about every team in France might have a player like him. But they don't have a player as good at his job as he is. His profile may not be particularly special, but he's one of the most effective defensive midfielders I've seen in that age profile.

We won't be getting Richarlison for the simple reason that I haven't forgiven him for sliding into my 18 year old daughters DM's.

Unforgivable.

Ya snooze ya lose
If we didn't sign him up he either goes to Arse and is a success or signs a new deal at Brighton and becomes unaffordable.

You seem far too eager to pass judgement.
If you're still struggling to understand just how serious wrongful accusations can be, I suggest you watch this:

In summary, evidence of an incoherent child was used to send a promising athlete to prison. He lost the best part of his career and could easily have been killed whilst inside.
It subsequently transpired the evidence by the kid was gibberish and wrong. He was talking about someone else and that person was being protected.

And in case you haven't noticed, there's been a pretty big case on international news and TV for the last few months where some dude was accused of all sorts but proven to be innocent.
You're misunderstanding me. I'm not saying Bissouma is guilty. There's a lot of bullshit accusations around, and I hope that's what it's turning out to be with Bissouma.

My point is, however, that the police hasn't cleared him of the allegations yet. That investigation should've been concluded before we made a move. If he isn't innocent, we're now going to be the club that signed a sexual assailant. I think it's disgraceful that the club is willing to take that chance simply because he's a good footballer. If we didn't get Bissouma, so what? This just shows that the club thinks of money before humans. We should have better values than that.

Real Madrid have bought two of them out of France in the last two years. Both better footballers and younger than Rice.

They could have bought Rice. As could Liverpool, but were trying to buy Tchouameni.

Again, I’m not saying he’s shit, just questioning the whole “best on the planet” thing.

This is like Grealish, Maguire etc. Massively over hyped, overrated and over priced.

Well there's audio in the public domain of Greenwood raping a girl, so it's obviously treated different.

He's one of the best young defensive midfielders on the planet. That's what I said and I stand by it. His numbers in the Premier League show that, the eye test also shows it. The fact he went to the likes of Lyon & Sevilla and ate them alive shows he can do it in Europe. He's very often England's best player as well.

He may well not be as good a 'footballer' as Tchoumaeni or Camavinga. But I'd bet any money he's better than them from a defensive standpoint. Why would Madrid or Liverpool try to get Rice when taking the best player off any PL team is like pulling teeth? West Ham value him at 150m!

Fuck sake, look at them

SC's ITK discussion thread is still closed/locked due to A&C throwing a fit when his rather fragile ego got, errr, hurt :D An fragile ego combined with his wish to be a dictator is a disaster in the waiting...
