For years we have had a team of nice happy go lucky players with little or no leaders.
We have winners and leaders all over the pitch now. I have been begging for a team like this for years.
How many big London Derby’s have we lost in the past, purely because we allowed the opposition to bully us? Well that ain’t going to happen any more. Just like the recent NLD these teams wil absolute fear us and bottle it just like the Goons did last month.

I think he could do better than Fulham to be honest.. He’s not quite top 6 but would shine for a Leicester, Wolves type club.

Or you think we might play a 3? I guess Eriksen could cover midfield 3 and play off the left in a front 3. I don’t see a need to buy another out and out CM

I would be ok with that for now…: at some point we need to replace Kane and Son but that’s not urgent for this season.
Son is the best CF / 9 cover we can hope for really, so if we have quality that can play in his position (Eriksen/other) then maybe we don’t need another stellar striker to sit in the bench
Diaz would also allow you to buy a wide attacker if we can't get Richarlison and wouldn't need a sale to come into the squad. Would also be an easy loan/sale at the price quoted. Risk is that we think Parrott and Scarlets are going to be better than him in 12 months.

Only real caveat is its only really last season he started scoring lots of goals/assists - 22 goals 3 assists (before then 20/21 7 goals and 5 assists which is ok )
Definitely a back up opportunity imo, especially as HG taking up a vacant HG squad place allowing an extra player in the squad.

If Diaz does well during that 1 season his price will double, or maybe even triple, after winning both the EPL & CL

It happened. At first it was Bergiwjn as CF but he got injured as well. Then the pandemic started and cut that bleak period short.
