Perhaps use the £150m new funding to buy both?
Selling Bergwijn and loaning out Gil again means there’s space in the squad for that.
Agreed. Richarlison is used to playing in a low possession side, that fits us more. He's also a big aerial presence, we need that both in defensive set pieces and in attack. Kane is the only forward or midfielder that is good on attacking set pieces, and he's not as good as he used to be.
Ideally you'd get both... but this is the real world.
The transfer fee isn't the issue. Both would expect to get significant minutes, and a decent handful of starts, either that or a lot trophies AND bucketloads of cash.I mean, if we got both we'd have a backup RW and a backup CF. This really shouldn't be an unrealistic level of expectation.
Maybe not specifically those two as it would be a lot of money .. but still.
He only approved £100m of the £150m. Fucking tight-fisted bald cunt.Daniel Levy has approved for Tottenham to withdraw £100m of the £150m ENIC cash investment to put towards the summer transfer window (Football London).
This comes after the Spurs majority ownership increased capital by £150m last month, via convertible A Shares and accompanying warrants

We could give one of them significant minutes, the other would only get token minutes, and quickly grow restless. Unlike Moura, they see themselves as future stars.
Are you mentally ill?Richarlison is a way more exciting signing then Raphina in that he plays more positions we need, his output is just as good especially in that shit Everton side and he works his ass off way more than Raphina.
Based on the numbers there is virtually nothing to separate Raphinha and Richarlison. I think Richarlison has a bit more of the Conte mindset but either would do nicely. Both would be even better.
Raphinha is on another level to Richarlison. This is not looking good at all...
Athletic excerpt:
There is a sense around the situation, and among the other teams interested in Raphinha, that Woolwich are now firm favourites for his signature.
There is optimism at the Emirates Stadium that they have manoeuvred into a strong position and it is thought Raphinha is open to the potential move.
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in the Brazil international but the former are currently focusing their attention on Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling and the latter’s first-choice target is Everton forward Richarlison.
Come on you don’t even believe that. Jesus is absolute garbage. He was a backup striker at a team with no striker while scoring 8 goals in the most creative team in the league. Saka is extremely overrated. Martinez is like 5’6”. You just make yourself look silly trying to be “unbias”
They owe money on Dele as well, it was rumoured at £20m, I wonder if we can stall payments, maybe loan Winks on a loan to buy and a few other things to help their FFP maybe sweeten the deal for Richarlison.
We have the money for it even if we only have net spend of £120m, as I calculated earlier on this threadKane, Son, Kulusevski, Richarlison and Raphinha. If we have that five to choose from we will genuinely push Man City for the title. That is how tantalisingly close we are so the club should simply be brave and get both the Brazilians in this summer.
A hypothetical 14 goals would be an excellent addition to Woolwich and make him top scorer based on last season.
It's not about 'levels' - they are very different players, and for many on here, the Richarlison type of player is a better fit for us / Conte than the Raphinha type of player. "Calling out" people just because they have a different opinion to you on a couple of players is a bit arrogant / ignorant as far as I'm concerned.Woolwich fans have been completely delusional and unhinged during this whole transfer window on social media... but if any Spurs fans pretend that Richarlison is on Raphinha's level then it needs to be called out.
