Spence isn’t getting done till the end of the window if ever now. Middlesbrough are trying to use the media to force Levy’s hand. He’s not going to overpay for Spence. And doing this will just make him even less willing to match their valuation.

They're exactly the sort of team that would "blow everyone out of the water" and pay £150m to get Declan Rice.
