Brigton about as good an offer as he's gonna get in the prem. As we're learning, plausible options will be limited in Europe.

I don't think so. He'd be a useful option for many teams, the wages aren't too prohibitive and he doesn't seem to have any attitude issues at all. Clearly does fancy a move to Spain though so we might end up with a loan with option to buy deal.
Really I can understand rejecting Brighton. He wasn't terrible last season at all, had a decent first season & was excellent for Sevilla .. his stock should still be higher than that.
