Wow, now you are really moving goalposts A LONG WAY.
Capable of scoring AT LEAST 10 league goals ?!? to cover Moura's position in squad?

Moura have not scored 10 goals not even with THREE SEASONS GOAL TALLY COMBINED.
He is on 9 EPL goals across 3 full seasons for us.

In terms of output you are massively overestimating his contribution.

What considers getting along well, and being an influence in the dressing room + being full professional willing to play out of position - in that sense I agree with you. But this does not have to come in combination with such output as you were saying.

he scored 10 league goals in 32 games in the 18/19 season. hence the words CAPABLE, and AT LEAST.

I see us selling Moura tbh, he has just one year on his contract and didn't even played this season, so it's an expensive asset to keep. If someone is willing to pay and we have a replacement I see us doind the deal.

Yea, he was capable.
Four years ago.

Before we had likes of Kulusevski, Richalidson...

He has succeeded once, and failed in three other attepts. Now as our 5th choice, he is not expected to score 10 goals.

Once more - talking about numbers - in three full seasons, he has managed to net 9 goals in EPL. IN three seasons. Also science.
If you want to take history lesson, then maybe promote Defoe back to main squad from coaching position, back in the day he also scored double figures for us...

For me it’s just more cogs that fit, yes they could do it but the balance might be slightly out. In the biggest games ideally you would want to avoid that. It might be that any remaining elite CB’s are just way to expensive, I mean look at Chelsea paying £75m for Fofana.

At some point we are going to have to get an elite CCB to compete/cover Dier. As for Lenglet he looked good in the pre-season so I think he will do well for us at LCB.
Yes you'd imagine that's where we go big in Jan or next summer for a Bastoni or Skriniar type.

I think the key gaps to fill over the next two windows are:

Attack: Lucas' replacement. We need another Richarlison-level rotation option once Lucas goes. Gil has hopefully cemented himself as 6th choice by then (not to mention our young loanees maybe being ready for the first team).

RWB: I'd imagine we still plan to ship out Doc and Emerson and get a better starting RWB for Spence to learn from (Carrasco maybe)

CB: Here we need two signings. One is the LCB upgrade (maybe this is Lenglet's loan made permanent). Two is the Tanganga replacement and hopefully CCB upgrade on Dier (Skriniar).

You could argue that we also need to start thinking about the GK situation.

So four key signings and we will have a ridiculously balanced squad full of quality.

Would be a huge surprise if Moura leaves. He loves being here and we are not going to get a replacement as good as him to be our 5th/6th choice attacker. Plus he can look after the other Brazilians.

Romero is a front foot defender, he could do the CCB role but I feel the RCB role is much more suited for him to how he plays and how our system works.

Romero is our best defender but Dier is arguably our most important given what we have.
I agree with this, I just think that if Dier got injured Romero would be the best of the options we have right now.

From what I’ve heard, moura wants to go back to play in Brazil in a year or two. I can’t see him agreeing a long contract for another side when he’s settled here.

The guy was hell bent on starting tanganga at CM. Not worth the time.
From 3 years ago I started putting Kane in some of my teams at #10, insisting he could drop in the hole (and even a bit deeper, at times)and help develop play , due to his technicals.

Same sort of l33t feedback from football galaxy brains like you.

Now, all pundits do is rave about how different/unique he is, as a ST, due to his technique, vision and versatility - able to drop off, feed, create + still score his goals.

So...please...shhhh.
