I genuinely like Sarr, and I think he's been under utilised massively by Frank.

Problem is I think we should prioritise the growth of Gray and Bergvall, whilst also bringing in a first choice ball playing CDM. I just don't know how much good he'll be as our 5th choice 6/8.
Palhinha will be going back to Bayern. Don't see this board spending 30m on a bloke who will be 31 before next season kicks off. Biss out of contract and will not be renewed. That will leave Gallagher, Bentancur, Gray, Sarr and Bergvall. Bentancur unlikely to go anywhere so Sarr the obvious one to make way if we spend big on an elite midfielder but seeing as that isn't likely to happen and we won't be playing in Europe, Sarr probably stays.

A change of pace on here in that your valuations are probably spot on. However, I’d say selling half a dozen senior players in one window is probably too much for us.

Agreed probably slightly over optimistic there, also think we could retain some of those players.

i just think there's a serious mentality problem with this current crop and the only way to change that is by refreshing the squad.

I actively dislike a fair number of our squad right now. But I do put a lot of the blame on the manager for this. The right replacement could get something out of the group we have. At least get them to look like they give a fuck.

As you say, a mentality issue with them. If a new man comes in and starts hoofing them all in the taint, we may not have to have such a clear out.

Nah mate. Don't you know that the universe completely conspired against Frank and made his job completely impossible, so on and so forth.

We're never gonna get rid of these cunts

Regardless of who is the manager, I do wonder why on earth we would be focussing on midfielders when the squad looks as it does

Bentancur, Sarr, Bergval, Gray, Maddison, Xavi, Kulusevski, Gallagher....

from my vantage point our midfield is highly questionable.

Bentancur is garbage
Kulusevski possible never the same if he returns
Maddison forever unreliable with injury
Gray and bergvall kids
Gallagher so so workhorse
Sarr just hasn't progressed abd is kinda average.
Bissouma leaving

Just really leaves xavi as one who looks good enough to me

And if I were to agree that were all true - Im not sure Id pair Xavi with Rogers, feels like theyd step on each others toes

And thats after half the squad would need rebuilding...
