Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Ezzalzouli (LW) scored for Betis again today. 9 goals and 6 assists in all comps this season.
I think he would be a sneaky LW pick up in the summer. Still only 24...
Decent player but not that much better than our French kiddo duo and the kind that should only be a backup here if we were a serious club. Also I'd rather give the deputy mins to an English academy lad.

I read it, you said if we are serious about challenging and I asked you what are we challenging for??
We should be challenging for every competition we're in.

If someone feels that Trafford isn't good enough for a team challenging for the league then they're well within their rights to say we shouldn't sign him.

We can't bemoan our recruitment and at the same time accept the signing of players below league winning level cos we haven't challenged for many seasons.

Someone summed it up quite well once:

"It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory."

Think we need to start getting back to that.

We won't be, we are not Man City.

Haven't said otherwise

We are not at that level and any player we sign won't be at that level either.

ok

Think we need to be a tad realistic though.

We, as fans, don't have to be realistic.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with criticising a signing as someone who won't help us challenge for trophies.

We want to build a squad to ultimately challenge after all.

What? Where have I criticised anyone for wanting Trafford or any signing?
I'm regretting getting involved here already lol

You questioned the wording of 'challenge' when someone said he wouldn't take Trafford as he won't help us challenge. Seemingly mocking the thought of us considering transfers through a title challenge lens.

So no, you didn't criticise wanting Trafford. You seemingly ( if I misunderstood then I apologise) criticised the idea of dismissing signings who won't help us challenge.

It's late though and I just dropped my phone on my face.

No I didn't, I just asked him what we are challenging for?

What are we doing here? 🤣

Exactly

Fuck all that “we’re not Man City” crap. Woolwich owners aren’t Man City either and neither are Liverpool owners.

If ENIC can’t keep up, then we need to keep the pressure on them until they do, or fuck off
