Ipswich spent their prem income upfront; and it may have worked out for them , in the long run.
As ever it not a question of how much you spend but rather who you spend it on .
Yeah, but did they increase their wage bill sevenfold as well?

Yeah Ipswich were actually pretty sensible with their signings - they spent a load but it was mostly on top-end Championship level players/players with potential that they could either sell-on or would be useful if they went back down. Imagine their wages were v.modest compared to teams like QPR who offered massive wages to former top-players.Yeah, but did they increase their wage bill sevenfold as well?

No.I know its highly unlikely to happen, but, would Marcus Rashford be a good fit?
Ok guess I should expand on that.I know its highly unlikely to happen, but, would Marcus Rashford be a good fit?
That looks about right from my reading. Thanks.Ok guess I should expand on that.
An on-form, motivated Marcus Rashford is actually a very useful player, but we've seen his ups and downs at United over the years and how utterly wank he can be when he's not happy.
He's on uber wages and, if we somehow survive, we'd be bringing him into a club that's been floundering for years. A bit like RKM, we'll be quite low down his list of preferred suiters, and we'll probably end up with a sulky bellend milking the club of 250k+ a week if we're the only club that will take him.
He's exactly the type of player and character we should be avoiding, athough the link itself is absurd and fanciful anyway - I just can't see it happening. If we do stay up and he's a target it shows the club have still learned nothing from our litany of ginormous mistakes.

I think we can add loanee Kolo Muani to the departing list unless he suddenly changes in last 4 games.
Palhinha we may convert from loan to permanant.
If he does that we should build him a statue.Muani can score a hat trick in each of the final 4 games but he still can go back to whichever club he came from......useless player

Looks like the only question left to ask is how much is the fee we get - whilst I think Kinsky may stay as our no 1 gk whichever division we are in, we will certainly need to spend money on other areas of squad (eg forward line) so a healthy fee for Vicario can be put to good use
I've heard we have instructed intermediaries to begin dialogue over a potential move for Neville SouthallWith Vicario off if we go down we'll probably be scouring the bargain bins for an experienced keeper as still not sure we can have total faith in Kinsky yet. Both Karl Darlow and Nick Pope are out of contract. Both done the rounds in the champo over the years. If we stay up you'd hope we set our sights a lot higher but wont hold my breath.
I know you know he is old and fat and retired for 100 years . However verses free and cheap wagesI've heard we have instructed intermediaries to begin dialogue over a potential move for Neville Southall
Pinch of salt ofcourse and dependant on us staying up
Clearly Lange and Vinai were instructed to make a "big" signing.I've heard we have instructed intermediaries to begin dialogue over a potential move for Neville Southall

He’s a good fit for the bin.I know its highly unlikely to happen, but, would Marcus Rashford be a good fit?
