Robertson, Senesi plus trafford would be a good start to the window.

Im not sold on Robertson but hes only 32 and better than Davies and a crocked Udogie.

The issues are mainly in the forwards though. Until we buy some goals its not gonna move the needle. Going for some prem proven players would help. Thiago, Kroupi etc... rather than punting on more Tel's and Xavi's.

We desperately need to sign a striker this summer. Richarlison is obviously leaving. Solanke should be too as he has been a huge disappointment.

But the reality is, we need a striker. If we go into the new season with Solanke as our main man, we are properly fucked. He will no doubt get injured again.

Our big problem this season has been scoring goals.

And please do not mention Odobert, or even Kudus. None of them are reliable goalscorers.

Unless we solve this problem in the summer, we will struggle again next season.

FACTS :

Robertson Starts in 2026/27

CL - 5 , Win 5

PL - 11 ; Win 5 , Draw - 4. Loss -2. Losses were against City & United away - both games he wasnt at any fault at goals.

So dont get carried away with what Liverpool fans are saying. Their standards is so far high. We dont have a left back who can cross a ball. Robertson been generally available and fit. So on both cases, he is good. Plus Liverpool always played well when he is on pitch
Thats the problem in a nutshell.

Kerkez has been far from impressive for them this season, and yet Robertson is still being let go of.

Diouf at WHU would be a much better signing. Robertson is only going to get worse from here. Diouf is only going to get better.

Kerkez ofcourse wont be sold with 4 years left on contract
Robertson wont be given a new deal when he is 32.

Robertson isnt coming to Spurs to start all games. He is coming to us to play as part of squad. Different expectations. There is no other angle here. He is still on top of his game , he is still fit with no major injuries. He is still sound in mind and able to play in PL and 80% of time atleast this season came out without losing the games

United finished below Brentford and got Mbeumo, etc. if you pay the money, you can attract top talent. Plus we have the kind of manager players are excited to play under. Liverpool have some instability. Is Slott going? Who’s coming in? Take advantage of it. Get De Zerbi selling Wharton the dream, offer him 250k a week. Show some fucking balls.

Yeah, Osimhen undoubtedly is hard to handle and has a huge ego. There’s obviosuly a reason he’s in Turkey in the prime of his career. But we have a top man manager who can handle these kinds of figures so we should take advantage of it.
They are Utd. A football behemoth.

I don’t think people understood the damage that sacking Ange (as bad as he was) at that time did. It sent out the message that winning in any form wasn’t the priority, especially for a team that just had a trophy drought of 17 years. This isn’t a defence of Ange, I’m talking purely about the optics.

Replacing him with a feckless loser like Frank compounded that, then the blatant denial for months of the folly of that decision.

Just chucking money at stuff doesn’t make you look serious, you only have to look at Chelsea and to a lesser extent Newcastle to that.

Everyone in the prem has money nowadays, you just have to be smart about it. West Ham $& Ourselves have spent way more than Bournemouth & Sunderland.

Yeah, Xavi I get. Deki we have no clue on timelines but guess you’re right. Any idea on any timeline for Odobert has been given?

He did his ACL in Feb so in a best case scenario he will be ready to start matches in the New Year, but with our medical staff we may as well write off the whole of next season. We should not be relying on 3 guys who have exploded their knees. It’s tough but we have to behave as if they don’t exist until they prove otherwise.

Its very nice feeling when new manager already met squad and knew on who he can count on even before window started
He’s also seen up close and personal who’s got the mentality, fight and can be relied on in adversity.

I bet he’ll be keen to move on those that he felt didn't demonstrate the grit and character required over our battle to stay in the league.

Left wing is the position we need to spend BIG.

Go for Nico Williams or Godts or Yildiz - just show ambition and spend the money in this position. We desperately need a capable winger. Way RDZ plays, his build up play gives 1v1 opportunities for his wingers. So, need someone who can take on the fullbacks and go for it.

I am sure Mikey Moore can be very good in this in the time he will be given. But we need to hit the market big in this position.

Add Christos Tzolis at Club Brugge as well
