VDV is faster and more physically imposing in the duels. Hes a completely different world carrying the ball, and he’s got so much better in the air this season.
Senesi’s data benefits from being in a stable team and system. It’s not comparable to the last 2 years of Spurs chaos VDV has been lumbered in.
In a pressing team, you need players to compensate for Senesi’s lack of pace. VDV is the player that compensates for about 3 other players in your team that aren’t as quick.

On our transitional way back to the top 6 I still think Palhinha has a role to play for a year or two. The squad needs to learn to fight and how to force wins. Joao sets a very good example and can lead with experience. As mentioned before, get rid of Bissouma and Sarr before replacing Joao.
Going forward, I’d swap Gallagher for MGW and keep Simons. If that was possible.
Then again, De Zerbi might use Simons and Maddison as wide 10s and that changes everything
JP was an absolute cult hero in a relegation battle.
