Leao is miles ahead of either of them - so long as his head is on straight. I'd much rather take him for £40m if RDZ thinks he can work with him than those two.

Going forward yeah more talent and can be a real match winner but off the ball he is crap, lazy and his mentality is poor hence why Allegri had to stick him up front. The very definition of a luxury player.

We don't need any more passengers, thank you. Actually thinking about Di Zerbi working with a player like that and accepting his flaws is hilarious.

I don't get all the hype over the Vuskovic situation. Ok, he wants to stay in Germany and play with his brother, but at the end of the day he is contracted to Spurs and is much more suited to RDZ football than Danso. He was one of the top CH in the Bundesliga this season, so maybe now is the time to start integrating him into our first team. At the end of the day the premier league is the Mecca for most footballers, so no reason he throws toys out of the pram.
Vdv, Senesi, Danso and Vuskovic is a good start, possibly add one more if Romero sold, with the option of vdv at left back if necessary.

I am more concerned with our full back options. Porro finished the season well but for the most part is better going forward than he is at defending, having had a torrid time under Frank and Tudor, hopefully if he stays RDZ can improve his game, but I wouldn't be against a change if replaced with a more solid defender, with Spence as backup. Udogie is injured more than he plays and Andy Robertson is at the wrong end of his career, is Souza ready for the Premier league.

We also need to be aiming big with our up front targets, we have seen enough of mediocre players like Solanke, Richy, Solomon, Muani and Scarlett over the past two yrs, we now need real quality to replace what we lost in Kane & Son. The big issue here is do we trust does employed to find the right replacements to do their job, hard to have any belief in them looking at past endeavours.
Need a fair bit of business done B4 WC starts, it ain't going to be easy but they openly stated they were waiting for the summer to do their business so time to put their money where their mouth is, no more excuses, two seasons finishing seventeenth is more than enough.

I think you will be disappointed as the only way to buy the number of players you list is to buy lots of mediocre players for £30m each.

Our aim has to be to improve the squad and that means buying a smaller number of good experienced players (say another 4 after Robertson and Seesi ), probably paying a lot more than £30m for each player, and if necessary add a few youth (eg Vuskovic, Devine, Lankshear) whilst offloading maybe 10 players - Vicario, Romero, Dragusin, Davies, Bissouma, Palhinha, Sarr, Kolo Muani, Richalison, Solomon - so we end up with a technically better squad to play the less than 50 games next season rather than the 60 games with europe we played last season.

Sure, not every area of the squad is upgraded - that can only be done over a few transfer windows - but the right players in will make a big difference. Swapping out the players listed above for similar levels will not

Even if it's a N.Kante? How about a Mahrez. there's a long list of "N'obodies" that made it, and a long list of "Olises" that didn't
I won't pretend to know if Kante or Mahrez were known future stars at the time, or absolute N'obodies.
If we had a big club mentality though, we'd have made a decent effort of signing them from Leicester off the back of finishing 3rd in a 3 horse race that season.
But....Levy.
(And, tbf, Abramovich agent fee cheating)

I'm sorry to disappoint you, mate, but I'm not just a follower, like many of the people who make brain-dead comments in here. I'm not afraid to go against the flow.
Not being a sheep doesn't make you a shepherd.

One day you have to ask yourself: if your dog is bitten by your neighbour's dog, do you feed the neighbour's dog? Or do you give it the evil eye and flash water at it while you're spraying the garden?

Looks like we've found a potential Mousa Dembele
