Was keen on him when linked before, seemed a really good fit for us

Then forgot he existed :franklol:

Were things that bad at Juve?
6 goals and 4 assists in 35 Serie A games (2 goals and a 1 assist in the CL). Vlahovic only played 19 league games and still outscored him by 1.

David is a talented player but he's not the sort of back against goal striker that Juve needed.

Why do some people think we're signing an entire new first 11 in one window.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Anderson really is a bit special now, isnt he?

I dont think Wharton comes out of that great

Hackney really does look good, although caveat it is the Champo...

Hackney defensively is weak though, he'll need someone next to him who is defensively sound.

Just goes to show how difficult it is getting the balance right in that position, people think we can get an elite player there are mistaken, it's arguably the most important but the most difficult position to fill in football.

Also goes to show how good Anderson is and why City want him.

It was not, he was on form the early part of the season, tailed off in the middle and then hit ridiculous heights towards the end and even if that is the benchmark of him doing it over the last 5 matches then I don't see what difference it makes anyway.

Highest amount of successful dribbles
99th pct for xga
99th pct for key passes per 90
90th pct for successful crosses
90th pct for goal involvements

Best winger in the league last season as well bar none - not including Gordon because his stats are skewed as he played as a striker as well.

7 of his 10 goal involvements came in their last 10 games

Before that its 3 in 28

Don't get me wrong im a fan of Doku - but i dont know how much you watched city this season - Pep swiched up his tactics in the last quarter of the season - and Doku's output benefited from it greatly

Interestingly, Savio scored in 3 of the last 5 starts Pep played him - 2 were in the cups against Brentford and Newcastle.

The boy has talent when given the opportunity. He will, without question, prove you wrong.

Does the last 10 games not count in a season then, I don't really understand this point, same for the fact that Pep switched up his tactics?

I think we're getting away from the main crux anyway, if people are going to make the argument about Pep kills his wingers and presumably you're making the same argument for Savinho then Doku and Semenyo totally contradicts that right? Even if their goals did come in bunches that doesn't really change the argument.

I hope he does prove me wrong, I just don't understand where all the faith is coming from.

That covenant stuff is an urban myth that Simon Jordan plucked out of his arse to sound clever on TalkSport
WALOB! 😂

Banking institutions do NOT loan hundreds of millions of pounds without protecting themselves by putting strict banking covenants in place, such as liquidity and leverage ratios that require regular reporting. Breaching these covenants can trigger repayment of the loan.

I was the Head of Finance for a large engineering firm and we borrowed £6m towards the construction of a new factory and the number of banking covenants were quite onerous on just that amount. We had to report monthly and it did limit us on a few occasions when trying to invest in machinery because it would have breached a couple of the reporting ratios.

They started from much better positions.
They both did worse than the season before.
They finished worse off than before the sweeping changes. Not a tough concept for anyone with more brains than a halibut to follow.

You think if we added Van Hecke, Scott, Locatelli, Akliouche, Savinho and Osimhen to Senesi and Robertson, with RDZ coaching them, we’d end up worse than 17th?

Are you ok over there in that Jack Jones (but hurt) Locker?

You seen the covenants specific to Spurs stadium loan?

Has Simon Jordan?

Do banking covenants exist? Obviously.

Do either you or Simon Jordan have a fucking clue what covenants apply to any Spurs debt? Obviously not
