I see they are still discussing a new contract with Harry Wilson - he becomes a free signing when his contract ends on 30 June. I think we've been linked, as any PL club can talk to the player a month before contract comes to an end.

This could go on for weeks if Brighton decide they want to hold out for an unrealistic fee for a player with one year left on contract
If he tells them he's not going anywhere else, so no bidding war can develop, they'll then have to weight up what fee they can get now vs nothing in a year.

I'm being very specific here about a player who has played one full season in a very weak league compared to the Prem - and my point was not that we should not bring him back - more the idea that he might not be ready for the Prem based off one season in the BL is not really that controversial.
