I may be in the minority here, but I'd rather we spent big on Eze than buy Orban.

25, English, experienced in the Prem. Importantly could cover Maddison, Son and Kulu injuries if needed. Sort of player us fans would love and really get behind.

I am with you to an extent. But this club particularly after selling Kane and soon Hojbjerg and others should be able to easily afford Eze, Orban and Tapsoba, that might be £150m all combined which is basically covered by sales. You can say we ain’t Chavs or City fine but Arse who ain’t doped can go big when needed.

And neither will you with Porro. Royal or Porro in a front foot aggressive possession based team? Porro for me. Royal isn’t this great defender that he’s made out to be. I do think he’s better defensively than Porro but 65 % of the game we will be attacking. Porro is quicker, better touch, better passer, better in tight areas, better crosser and will chip in with more goals.
In pre season Porro has played 2 x 45 mins and he needs time to get used to the system the same as the rest. He was signed as a RWB and I think he’d be very good at RW but he will still be a very good player for us at right back.
Maybe Ange will pick his RB according to the opponent. Porro is the worst defender at a club full of bad defenders but you probably aren’t going to need much defense against Luton.

Agree completely. But we just know Levy won't go that big on top of what we've already done.

I would defo go for Eze though if it’s an option, can play winger, central and mid and has class in the way Bissouma and Maddison have class. He could potentially pressure Kulusevski and Son if the system is willing to use Eze how City use Bernardo Silva/Foden/Grealish in a sort of false winger role.

But why were we spending 40m for a WB system when we knew Conte had one leg out the door and in 6 months everything could change and we already had a 20m WB out on loan?
Anyone with half a brain cell knew he wasn’t going to re-sign.
Porro was signed (at a massive premium) to appease the ‘Back Wiggy’ fan-boys that infested social media during the window with Wiggy insisting he was a ‘game-changer’. I haven’t read back through the thread here but ‘just get him in, you bald cunt’ was the majority sentiment.
There were a few dissenters — self included — that were thinking about a possible RWB logjam. Of course, we also had Doherty at the time (as he was released at the end of that window).

BTW

Where are the fucking outgoings??

Levy is holding out for big fees so he doesn't have to take a loss. Also has a double win for him as he can use it as an excuse to not spend where Ange needs it.

This ownership is a fucking scam.
