I was certain we should sell Hojbjerg, but he has shown value in coming on as a sub and calming games down when we have a lead. Keep unless United offer 30m plus.
I think we should sell him. 28, 2 years on his contract and whilst not the main reason for our shitiness over 3 seasons has certainly played his part. This is a full rebuild so lets change as much as we can and we can get a decent fee to hopefully reinvest. Same for Sanchez.

You would think, something we need to start happening today or tomorrow.
Don't want to go into Friday, scrabbling around for one or two.
In any case, normally if we have not got anyone else in by Thursday, we don't normally do anything on Friday.
Couple of desperate loans out.

“Spurs refusing to sell Davinson Sanchez with no time to bring in a replacement”

“Spurs fail in shocking fax machine error for last ditch, deadline day deal for Johnson. “

Welcome to Daniel Levy’s club Ange.

Fuck all in today's market.
Richie may yet come good. And so might the other lad.
Every signing is a risk, but we've brought so many cheap duds over recent years I'm more confident of getting it right we're prepared to start spending relative to our wealth
I personally can’t be arsed doing this but I’d like to see what the balance is between money wasted on cheap punts compared to expensive flops.

Skipp is club trained and a backup option from the bench, I'm perfectly fine with him being depth considering our pressing issues with the HG matter.
It would be Hojbjerg I'd be incensed with being linked to. If we wanted to spend £30-35m on a 4th choice CM who isn't HG I'd be mind-boggled as to why.
You're only as good as your options off the bench. City won the treble because they have 2 full 11's that can win matches.

Our options from the bench are pretty poor, and I would absolutely include Skipp in that.

Yeah this will likely be the max we can extract for Hojbjerg - so IF we have a replacement lined up then we should go for it. If it’s just to balance the books and we won’t actually sign someone then it’s a hell nooooo from me

I agree that bench options are very important. I think you're being very harsh describing Skipp as a "pretty poor" player to be honest, I agree he is raw, but he has facets of his game which Ange can work on and turn him into a very servicable 6. And besides, I don't think Skipp will see a lot of action once Bentancur is back fit, it seems logical that Bentancur and Bissouma will start in the 6/8 spots and Sarr will be our first pick off the bench, which, with 1 game a week for the large majority of this season, is actually very very good depth off the bench for the CM spots.
I agree we have poor depth off the bench in most of the rest of the squad, Royal and Perisic pretty solid and offer something different, but very noticeable downgrades when it comes to LB, CB, AM, RW.

I just don't feel like Skipp adds anything tangible. to the team.
On top of that, he's had a poor injury record and I don't think I've seen a game where he hasn't lunched in stupidly risking a red.
