No risk? Sure, largely agree.

But if it’s a loan with no option, what’s the upside? We’re trying to lay the foundation for success in the long term here. Why give tons of minutes (even less without the League Cup) to a guy that’s only going to be here one year?

I'd say 2 senior guys...Tanguy or GLC and Pierre or Perisic.

Probably loan out some younguns like Dane, Harvey, them backups to the backup keep...

Once the window is shut, wouldn't be surprised if we released Hugo, Reggy...

Davs, Dier, Tanganga, Sess, GLC/Tanguy, Pierre/Perisic and Richy...that's Dec/Jan or next summer's business.

Let's be real: the squad was such a mess, it never was gonna get sorted in one summer, no matter how bad it needed to be and how much us fans wanted so. Especially when you factor in the Don Fabio and Scotty Moon situs...and yeah, Dan Not The Man etc etc.
 
Levy and ENIC don't care about having a squad good enough to challenge on more than one front, even without European football.

ONE trophy in 23 years and counting.

Maybe Johnson will be done and some surprise loan at CB, that's about it.

If Ange is going to do great things for us, yet again it will be with one arm tied behind his back.

Yeah, but I also watched last night and saw that he absolutely cannot play the 6 pivot in Ange’s system. He actively doesn’t want to receive the ball on the half turn.
