Hmm. So on eye test there's just no
comparison to Raya with those two re. composure on ball or ability to loft a short pass. Flicking through a few numbers here

Raya two seasons in PL with Brentford:
Short passes, 137/138 and 131/ 135, completion 99% and 97%. Medium passes 302/310 and 463/473, completion 97% for both seasons.

Championship seasons then you have Brentford playing a different style, probably 20% more possession per game.
Short passes 342/346 and 348/350, 98% completion both seasons. Medium passes 683/691 and 821/840, 98% and 97% completion.

Whatever the case, hopefully the club analyse available goalkeepers well and make the right call.
Not sure where you got your stats mate but these passing completion% stats would mean he's probably the best passer in world football

We should take a serious look at Hincapie at LCB. He's young, mobile, good with ball at his feet, and could be a really good fit for a Postecoglou side.

The fans shat all over it (although we ended up with Bentancur instead if memory serves).

It’s not the only one too - Kim Min-Jae was said to be a commercial joke when we went for him, Kvaratskhelia an unknown and cheap punt.

The club have got nearly everything wrong from a transfer perspective over the last 4 years. Our scouting has been horrid, and when it has been good we’ve failed to pulled the trigger and the player has gone on to be excellent.

So much talk about the manager, but without some nous in the transfer market it won’t matter.
The club seems to have found the players so the scouting can't be totally worthless. Was it the managers that put in their veto and stopped the transfers? If it was like that it wasn't the scouting that was terrible, but the two dinosaurs unwillingnes to accept, for them "unknown players" and not accept club signings.

Is it really top 5 next season?
Yep. The two countries with the highest coefficients will get a 5th team. If it was this coming season it would be England and Italy getting the 5th spot. If I'm reading this right, what would be interesting is that the team finishing 5th might not know if they will be in next season's CL until the 3 European finals are played, especially if teams for countries ranked 2 and 3 are in one or more finals and the coefficient points are really close. Depending on which team wins might determine which league's team gets the 5th spot.

What is also not clear is if a country gets 5 spots and one of their teams outside the top 5 wins the EL, will that country get 6 teams in next year's CL? Currently it is capped at 5 and there is no indication that this has changed.

the Teams interested in Amrabat:
Barca (they don't have money or squad places)
Man UTD (Fuck)
Atleti (Where he wants and where he fits perfectly)
Spurs? (LOL)

We had a chance and it wasn't taken. One of those where Paratici should have trusted himself to get it done. Funny how many Spurs fans at the time were convinced he was a Fiorentina reject and didn't want him.
Do you remember!?… it was naked indignation that we should even consider signing some typical cheap levy type deal that can’t break into the fiorentina reserves … delete club

I remember thinking fuck me is he that bad

Why can’t spurs ever unearth hidden gems like other clubs manage to

Yes, he sure had his "moments" (like the red card vs Milan) but he was by far the best Spurs defender for the past 2 seasons ...but could you elaborate on how his on-field performance was part of creating this off-field mess?
You added "off the field mess'. He was part of a defence that concede the most goals we have in decades. As many as the Spurs team that went down in the late seventies, I think some one said. That's on the field mess aplenty, and put us right where we are 8th. Him: Pointy Dopey, Sideways, Shouty, and above all others Cunte and the other mental dwarfs.

Strong links to Raya and Maddison are a great start but we need two top CBs in as an a absolute must.

The amount of individuals errors that led to goals made by the likes of Dier, Lloris, Lenglet, Sanchez Etc is criminal
