I think I'll post in whichever thread I think is relevant. If you don't mind Monsieur.

We'll let the actual forum moderator do his work, shall we?
Nobody’s going to arrest you for farting at the table but most people won’t have you over if you keep doing it.

For Sanchez? It’s fucking ridiculous. He’s not had a good season in half a decade, just get the freak outta here

He's an established International with 54 caps, £9m is crackhead money.

At this point I'm going to assume that most of you are bankrupt, no way you survive everyday life living like this.

For a free transfer I think Solomon is a no-brainer over the likes of Barnes. Barnes is good, but he's a good upper mid table player, and his hg status would demand a price above what hes worth. If Son is out injured for 3 months, I think you'd prefer to have Barnes in his place, you can depend on him for a certain amount of chance conversion. But we have Richarlison for that. Solomon looks the better type to change the game from the bench though, miles better at beating a man and unsettling a packed defence. And when we have Richarlison, I really don't like the idea of throwing 35-40m on another 7/10 player without much chance of becoming top class.
Plus Leicester are trying to spark a bidding war for Harvey Barnes, involving Newcastle, Villa & us.

The suggested asking price of £35 million for Barnes is inflated, imo. He's dangerous on the transition when he has space to run into & defenders are exposed, but he doesn't have the guile to open up a bus parking defence.

Villa already have numerous wide players like Barnes - good but not quite top class.

Howe may be looking to replace Saint-Maximin with a less mercurial player.

They're both welcome to blow £35m of their transfer budget on Barnes.

Newcastle United remain keen on signing Leicester's Harvey Barnes

The market decides the value of a player.

If your valuation is above what the market will pay, you don't sell them.

Levy likes to shop below market value and sell above it. He's done a shocking job at both in recent years.

Following Napoli’s first bid to try and sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Max Kilman, which was rejected, Tottenham were quickly said to also be in the race.

The interest from Spurs in the Wolves player was nothing new, and it did feel a bit like the old stories were being brought back up to make everything sound a bit more interesting.

However, Corriere dello Sport bring a bit more to the table on Thursday in their print edition, explaining that Daniel Levy is up to his usual tricks in the battle for the towering centre-back.

Wolves are ‘hoping for an auction’ to kick off between both Tottenham and Napoli for their player so they can ‘get the most out of the transfer’, especially since they have to give a percentage of future proceedings to Kilman’s former side, Maidenhead United.

As things stand, the €40m asking price is ‘considered excessive’ by the Naples side, who initially bid €35m, while Spurs are ‘also looking for a discount’.

In fact, Tottenham ‘do not intend to sink the blow’ for the Wolves player at this moment in time, perhaps waiting to see what happens with Micky van de Ven first, as Ange Postecoglou tries to put his defence in shape ahead of his first season in charge.
Down Napoli’s end, they are hoping that the Champions League football they have to offer could work in their favour, with Spurs completely out of Europe next season.
