So good that we're looking at goalkeepers with great distribution

Mamardashvili is an excellent choice too. Having a super season at Valencia. Single handedly doing his best to keep them up but he's definitely got world class potential on the scale of Kvara, another Georgian.

Out of those on the list my order would likely be :

- Maignan
- Raya
- Mamardashvili
- Sanchez

Though would be happy with any to be our goalkeeper for the next decade.

I have a funny obssession with trying to leverage nationality to try and sign better players. Sign Mamardashvili and then try to use that to entice Kvara lol

Can't think of many times it actually worked.

If we sign Mamardashvili and he works out then we have our goalkeeper position settled for another decade. The kid is 22. And with Valencia's finances being in constant trouble and them possibly going down he should be gettable.

Plus, we should sign him just to see if we can force Martin Tyler into retirement by having him pronounce his name.

Similar player profile to Robert Sanchez at Brighton according to Brazil Scout.

Actually a refreshing sign that our recruitment is being more extensive/sensible.

Hugo's drop-off has been a little faster than expected but it seems apparent that we've been succession-planning.

Makes me wonder if we've nailed our summer target down firmly now. Pickford and his agent would be informed (if we ever were interested) and hence this extension gets signed.

Real Sociedad are having a great season. Their goalie and right winger seem to get a lot of plaudits. I wonder whether they are any good?

Liked what I saw of both Olise and Guehi tonight for Palace.

Both young, both still raw but you can tell the quality is there.
