Kovacic is miles ahead of Philips. He can play 6 or 8 and has a press resistance as close as you can get to Dembele, he will make City retain the ball even better. Best Chelsea midfielder by a mile, he must want out badly as that is a big loss for Chavs particularly after they failed to get Ugarte.
