That chronology is probably correct (again without checking in detail).
I do remember it took some time for Poch to work out what to do with Dembele, before he became the heart of our midfield & sadly, like Wanyama, (& Sandro & Palacios) crocked too soon.
This also shows that there was quite a long evolution before the peak Poch era arrived.
As well as purging the Kaboul / Capoue / Adebayor group, Bentaleb also got binned for his attitude when coming back from injury, IIRC.
Mason, on the other hand, was a model professional identified by Poch as a key part of the Spurs culture he'd created. But ultimately judged not quite good enough, and sold to Hull.
There was a BIG leap between season 1 and season 2 where we'd shed a lot of dead wood and bad attitudes (also taking a while to realise than Kane was the future). The signing of Toby & Vic seemed to book-end the blooming process (one either side of the Leicester season.
3 peak years 15 - 18 (Leicester season, Goodbye WHL and 1st Wembley year).... Even 18-19 we were in title mix until January, meaning that even though our form fell off a cliff after that; we still finished top 4.
Kane, Mason(*), Carrol & Bentaleb (despite how it ended) were massive for Poch's first couple of years as they helped re-set the culture. As was the arrival of Toby re-juvinating Jan in more way that one.
(*I can't abide the way Mason gets so disrespected by the cunty element of our fan-base.)
