His market value is whatever a club is willing to pay.
Not sure his worth is the same...
I defend Richy as having a rough season for us but until he shows his worth, he hasn't been worth 60m for us.

again with this video?
He’s good in space due to his pace (most of these are out wide though, very rarely in the center) and has to go to ground way more than I’d like
Aerially, reading the game, being decisive in tight spaces, etc… it’s not good.
Also he hasn’t really got a right foot for passing.
It won't be €50m. He'll be a nice bit better than you think he is imo.. with lots of room to grow. People are too worried about heading stats and moments where he doesn't engage. Like it or not, potential is priced into players bought by PL clubs.Sorry I meant €50m
That’s still a pretty penny of £43m.
You know what that is? A fuckton more than he’s worth. About £20m more at least.
He's made many more mistakes, and will continue to do so. As would any other cb we buy. As will every cb who has or ever will play the sport. One mistake in 11,198 minutes of professional football. You'll hava to do alot better than that.
So do we: Dane Scarlett.I'm not familiar with City's sqaud but I assume they'd have a lesser player in the ranks to sit on the bench if need be.

Probably go to Newcastle next season for £100m and we'll all be kicking the shit out of ourselves,

Isn't the point of the buy and loan idea to get players before they become really expensive, even if they aren't ready for your first team?
We see the multi-club model for the City Football Group, Red Bull or now Chavs and Strasbourg.
It's like doing that.
Looks like it worked ok with Udogie and Sarr if they both end up first team players this year.
Udogie would have been a 30-40m player this summer...

Well why not put him out on loan and get Veliz in on the bench and actually use him as a substitute? If Scarlett is better than Veliz then why are we buying him?
No need to get snippy about it. Just wait and see what happens.Perisic is fucking rinsed. You're weakening 2 spots to fill 1 gap.
Anyway, you're fucking wrong and I'm not going to be drug into it again. See previous post and repeat until you're tired.
First time I've seen or posted that video.
Here's another
He's very quick, positionally aware, good on the ball, has leadership qualities (Netherlands U21 captaIn), excellent passing, will bring the ball out from defence really well.
You severely under-rate him.
You just shared a video that says "Market Value: 8m euros"
Not sure that's going to help the debate much lol
We overpaid for Joe Rodon because we wouldn’t pay for KMJ. It’s hindsight, agreed, but in the absence of an immediate first team contender, like Skriniar (who has also maintained a very high level) then Joe Rodon was not the smart punt over KMJ- even on a purely commercial basis. The club has always done deals like Rodon, and tolerance for British young championship player with potential has always been there. It's a strategy that has served us well in the main, it just didn't work out this time.
Let's not play dumb here - we both know that *in general*, the fans would receive a player from Swansea City, who had been getting games for Wales for a year, better than a player still in China. This has always been a factor in what the club does. There's a reason why Maddison was wrapped up very, very quickly this window,
I liked Kim more (always thought he looked a good player whenever i watched Sonny for Korea), but I get the logic behind the Rodon signing. Should Skriniar have been brought in, as well as one of Sanchez or Alderweireld being moved on? In hindsight probably, and Mourinho would've been better off for it.
